Course Curriculum Overview
The increased demand for this course made me choose this course. There are around 7-10 faculty from cs branch and around 200 or more students. Qualifications of faculty are BE in cse or ise and mtech. The teaching method are good enough. We had cie (internals) in November and December. The first cie was easy as we were new to college. But second cie was quite difficult.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is around 1 lakh per annum excluding the hostel fees. The opportunity of scholarship is very high, there are many scholarship available such as AICTE Pragati Scholarship Meghalaya Scholarship Merit Scholarship Begum Hazrat Mahal Scholarship and the list goes on.
Campus Life
There will be an event that lasts for almost a week mostly conducted in March. And there are different clubs available like ONYX, IEEE, ISSA etc that conducts fun event, tech event, gives exposure to students and has many more benefits. The library is quite big with more that 100 books including text books and reference books. The classes are well ventilated and also there is a projector. There are many sports played like basketball, volleyball, football, cricket, badminton etc. ONYX, ISSA, OSWAP, IEEE and many more social group, clubs or website for students run by students.
Admission
The entrance exam I got was K-CET . The eligibility varies as per your caste. For general merit the cutoff was around 6k.Application form was available at the official kea website. Application fees was around 500.I didn't avail any reservation benefits. The improvement I would like to see is detailed analysis of the admission process, as many of us didn't know what to do next because of which the deadline for every procedure was getting extended which is a great day problem.
