The campus and the classrooms are really nice..equiped with smart boards and projectors
the cafes in our campus are a place to chill out
The labs are really good and equiped with latest equipements

Dislikes

the teaching of some faculties are bad..not upto the mark
the library timings should be extended so that children can sit
Rest everything is great at my college and is manageable

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is very latest and designed keeping in mind the current requirements for jobs in mind..the 1st semster subjetcs are really nice if properly studied and understood by the studenrs..They conduct quizez regualrly

Fees and Financial Aid

the yearly fees i am paying is 2.8 lakhs for my course of ece my batchmates who came through kcet have to pay just 45,000 ..since i went through comedk i have to pay 2.8 lakhs this year as this year comedk fees have increased by some 35000..Other tha that jee students also have to pay the same as comedk students..

Campus Life

Technieks and our respective departement fests allow us to unwind from the daily colloge life..there are drequent coding competitions held ,extra curricular activities are always encouraged in this college

Admission

i had applied for vit velllore nut could not get into that college bcoz my rank was in some 50k which does not fetch me a cse or ece seat iin that institute..however i felt that the results were messed up

Faculty

The faculties are very much apprachable to the srudents whenever we go with doubts..They share notes and important questions very freqently and help us understand concepts ..They demonstrate various experimemts

Night Life

The libarary has abundant books and is very spacious..it is a very old librbary and has books of all version..the boys hostel has a gym but the girls one doesnt have..The cafes in the college are a great place to hang out

Good College with Supportive Faculty and Decent Placements

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Nitte: My review on my college

Placement Experience:

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

About my college

Placement Experience:

After completion of the course students are divided to teachers and the food industries are come to college and interview us and the student is eligible they can select. Some standard food related companies are visited nestle, ITC mysore , sulawines and some other companies also. The CGPA of the students is 7.5 or more is good below this also get selected but more than 7.5 is good. My plan is after completion of course then do work and get some experience in the industries and some of the time I am going to select a product and launch it over the world.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.

I got this college through KCET. My rank was 9k and I am pure general merit student, so I got this college in 2nd round. I personally prefered this college more at all which I could have got for my rank because of the experience of the college and main factor was the place where college is placed that is Mysore.
