- Good social services are promoted through students. So I like this activity very much. This is a very good thing.
- Sports activities. It absolutely helps in developing the skills of the students. This gives good opportunities to the students to prove their skills.
Dislikes
- Let's bring some more courses. For example travel and tourism, journalism, etc.
- The college canteen needs some improvement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I took this course (B.A History) because I felt a special love for it. Also wanted to study this course a lot. This course is for 3 years only. Catholicate College in Pathanamthitta, Kerala offers a B.A. in History. The college also offers an M.A. in History. The Department of History was established in 1966. To be eligible for a B.A. in History, students must Have completed Class 12 from a recognized board. Have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate. Ancient Indian History, Medieval India, Ancient World History, Political Theory, etc., are common subjects in a History degree. Students of this department have secured many ranks at the university level in consecutive years since its inception. The department published papers in international journals and completed four Minor Research Projects and one ongoing Project. At present the department has six permanent faculty members and about 149 students. The exam duration of this course is three hours.

Admission :
Application for U.G & P.G. admission in the General/SC/ST quota must be uploaded through the online Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) of M.G.University. Application for Community/ sports/ cultural quota must be submitted in the College Office on payment of Rs. 50/- each and Rs. 60/- by post. Candidates selected through CAP//SC/ST/ Sports/Cultural/ Management quota must produce before admission, their original TC and Conduct certificate from the school/college in which they last attended their SSLC book and their Higher Secondary Board/University pass certificate and relevant certificates. Students belonging to SC/ST and OEC and economically backward communities must produce income certificates and relevant certificates from the revenue authorities. Candidates will be considered admitted only after prescribed fees have been paid. Students from other universities should produce migration certificates from the respective universities / Boards and eligibility certificates from the university.
