Likes

Canteen is air conditioned and food quality is above average
Infrastructure of college is pretty good and the clock tower is like the cherry on the top.
Ground is pretty good and its very good to sit when you are hanging out with friends

Dislikes

Library is bad no maintenance and non availability of books.
No security watchman always sleepy i dont know why but he is sleepy anyone can enter college no checking of the id card.

Course Curriculum Overview

I want to prepare for UPSC so I opt for Ba which will help me to get bachelor degree and dont get in the way of my real goal. Faculty of the college is helpful always watch over students. Every 6 months end sem exam happens.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 12500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

My course fee is 12500 per year which is pretty ok for ba. As this is govermental college there are plenty of scholarship and many financial assistance are provided and many caste scholarship are also provided.

Campus Life

Every year Annual fest is conducted and many group from the other college come to perform and participate in competetion. There are many societies in the college like Yatharth(Drama play society), abhivanjana(singing) and many more. College offer many opportunity for students to show there talent.

Admission

I got admission through Cuet(Central Univesity entrance test). I am from OBC categories, my reservation help to get me admission in this college. Because you all know how much competetion is everywhere.

The wonders of college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

It DU, so i think for many students it comes down to if you are able to make it to cutt off list. So my decision was based on it. I cleared the cutt off list for english hons so i took it. I wanted to make my way for govt job, so it was all about getting a degree regardless of what subject i was getting. I think curriculum just make you educated enough to get to know but its the college life that make you come face to face with the real world. exams every 6 months i.e every semester i think its good.

my college provides internships and jobs at the end of each year, they bring about 50 companies and all students are eleigble, they have to fill forms for registration and then when the companies come they have to go for interview, where the hr are sitting of that company, if they wish to apply

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really like Human Geography which let me to opt for this paper. Besides theory papers, we also have practical papers every semester through which we conduct surveys, interviews, research which helps us in preparing for the real world applications as well as further academic pursuits if we want to go in the field of Remote sensing or GIS. I feel that for papers including research or management, we should be showcasing how we can mitigate them or adapt in such scenarios and also make drafts for writing a research for further pursuits. However, as the time is limited it is quite understandable as to why its not conducted. We have two exams in a year and they are quite relevant and easy

Flexibility And Suitability Of Shyam Lal College Evening

I want to do BBA but it require math in class 12 so i choose Bcom hons and actually it is a good course .
