Course Curriculum Overview

3

The reason I chose this course is because I didn't get any other course. I wanted to opt for Computer Science and I thought I would regret my decision by choosing this course. But to be honest I really like the core subjects it's different, new and kinda nice. Most of the teachers have completed their MTech and are aspiring for a Ph.D. but since it is a new course the faculty members are less compared to the student ratio. The termly exam is conducted every 4 months. Again it's a new course yet students have scored and have been able to pass the exam with good marks.

Internships Opportunities

3

Internships are sometimes offered to other departments. So we found an internship in other colleges. I expect college will provide more internship opportunities. 1 month ago there was an internship at our college a company approached.

Placement Experience

2.5

From semester 6 students can apply for jobs or for campus placements. Soty, Congagizent, Tcs, etc are the companies that I have come to for campus placements. The highest was 8.5LPA and the average is 3LPA. The students who got the job were kind of students who were good in studies as well as other co-curriculars. I have to get a job.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for every year is around 80000. But you may have to pay it every semester. That is 40000 per semester. The total course fee is 3,20,000. The students ka opt for government or non-government scholarships. Other than that if you have scored 90+ in your 12th board or if you belong to a certain rank category with respect to your Keam then the college will provide a scholarship. Till now most of the students have been placed on companies that give an average salary of 3LPA. The maximum Salary package for last year was 8.5LPA.

Campus Life

4

There are very few events that take place in our college. One is the annual tech fest known as Tharang. It is a different kind of experience. It's worth participating. Then there is college day, arts day, sports day, and union day. There is a library in college which has a lot of informative books. The classroom is quite good but during summer it's very hot. There are different student clubs for instance there is a Google developer students club, Dance club, IEDC, etc. There is a startup cell that is been run by students.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Hostel facility I would say it's kind of strict. There will be a room and it will be shared by 2 people. The rooms are quite small and yet it's better for 2 people. The meals are very good. I mean really good. Evening 4 pm snacks are not that good. Also, students can choose the menu per sem. The registration process was very simple. You just need to fill out a form and pay the advance money along with a caution deposit. The hostel rules and regulations and pretty strict. The curfew time is till 6:15 pm only. You need to get inside the hostel within this time or else you face a lot of consequences.

Admission

Well, I had to obviously take the KEAM examination in order to avail myself in any colleges in Kerala especially if you are opting for Engineering. The teachers took the initiative and helped us out throughout the admission process. In order to get into this course you need to qualify for any of the entrance examinations. In the reception, you must ask for the admission process and they will guide you to the room where the admission is taking place.

Other Applied Colleges

Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology - [RSET] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

I didn't get admission there

The campus placements are decent. getting placed in a big company is more about having the technical and soft skills to pass the interviews. the placement training helps us develop soft skills but the technical skills must be developed ourselves.
