Likes
- Campus; The campus is very huge. The campus has golf court. The sports club and student groups are very active which promotes social interaction among students and society. Each department has separate block which are very huge especially the CSE one
- Girls in the campus are attractive and sexy. You can't just take your eyes off them. The core departments like mechanical , ECE, EEE has comparatively less girls than aerospace and CSE.
- Faculty; the faculty is friendly and supportive.
Dislikes
- Less girls in mechanical department compared to other departments
- The college management is worst. Less importance is given to the students needs.
- PCL project. It is dragged from 3rd semester to final semester.
Course Curriculum Overview
My chosen course is Mechatronics cause this has a wide range of career opportunities. Each department's strength is around 50 and there is active interaction between students and faculty. The faculty here is highly qualified most of them hold a Ph.D. in their stream courses.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is around 2 lakhs per annum. The financial assistance is given to the candidate of backward classes. The placement cell is very active. The placements percentage every year is up to 95%. The highest package from Jain University is 36 lakhs per annum.
Campus Life
There is a fest (infinity) conducted every year in the college. The fest usually takes place once in a semester. The Library is very huge with a collection of up to 50,000 books. Sports like football, cricket, volleyball, basketball are held. The sports clubs are super active on the campus.
Admission
The eligibility to get into B.tech at Jain University is to acquire a minimum of 75 in your class XII. The admission form can be found in the university portal. The application fee is 1000. The process usually starts in June and ends in September of every academic year. The further process is followed by an online entrance test. The intake criteria are based on merit in your entrance test.
