Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I choose the CSE AIML. The artificial intelligence and machine learning course interesting to me because I was much interested in this course. The faculty and the student ratio is about one is to 30. The faculty are well qualified with masters are most of them with PHd. The teaching method is most done with the PowerPoint presentation and are not much effective. The term exams conducted around 2 months each in which is term consist of two or three subject. It is kind of difficult for for a student to pass in examination that is a bit difficult if we are very prepared them it is very easy for a student to pass in the examination.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

The companies that offered his internships are Ola, Futurense, Mamaearth and so on.. They provide the roles that we are comfortable under the internship. The projects that I have done are augmented reality, website building, virtual reality and so on

Placement Experience

2.5

From 6th semester student become eligible for campus placement. The number of companies are high for the placement. The highest package last year was around 42 lakh per annum and the lowest was around 3 lakh and few of the students didn't even get placed. Percentage of students getting placements around 90%. After getting my degree I am going to go for placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees hikes every four years and the cost to study is very very high it is not very worth it. During the entrance examination of Jain University for engineering the provide the merit scholarship for some of the students and now I am not placed in any companies I'm still studying in 3rd semester

Campus Life

3

The annual fest and tech fest or Neo Fiesta or ethnic day and few so they are conducted not very often. The books and journals the library are sufficient. The classrooms for a AIML provided with ac and charging ports. The sports and extra curricular activities on the campus are very less. There are some websites are clubs that are run by the students like turing club and so on

Hostel Facilities

3

The basic features and failities of a room or provided. The rooms are divided into two sharing and three sharing in which both of them cause different. The cost of the food is very high and it not so good. The hostel is not at all affordable and the registration process for the hostel is difficult. I have rented a PG nearby my campus.

Admission

Anyone is eligible for this course just that the person should be qualified in the Jain entrance test for engineering. There are no admissions through Karnataka CET exam but there are admissions through JEE exam. The application form is found in the official website of Jain University the application fees is around 1000 rupees. The application dates start 3 months or 4 months prior to the next academic starting year. The admission process takes place smoothly and even hostel admission can be done easily. Just that you apply in the official website and the official team of the Jain admission process section will contact you within no time and explain you everything without any issue.

Other Applied Colleges

Christ University | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

I had already studied in PUC in the same branch of Christ University so I was not interested to continue BTech in the same campus

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

Placement Experience:

I applied to colleges like BMSIT and Sir MVIT, and I had confirmed seats there, too. I chose RNSIT because it has a better reputation for placements in my branch and the campus environment felt more welcoming. I didn't get into RVCE because my KCET rank wasn't high enough for their top branches, as the competition was very tough that year. The admission process is simple. They mainly take students through KCET and COMEDK. You need at least 45% in your 12th boards (PCM). Most students prefer KCET because the fees are lower. Once the seat is allotted through counseling, you just visit the campus, submit your documents, and pay the fees. The whole process was quite smooth and well-organized."

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.
