Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I chose this course because it is the most in demand field. The faculty to students ratio is 1:60. Some faculties are good and teach we'll while others just read the slides from the PPT. All the faculties are qualified from various engineering institutes.somr faculties even have a PhD. Term exams in this college are every three months. It's easy to pass these exams if we study Course rating- 4.5/10 Faculty rating- 3.5/10

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Many companies come for internship to our college such as Goldman sacks, TCL, Wipro etc. Very few companies offer a stipend . The stipend is usually around 40000. We are given various projects throughout the year. We also have to do a project called the pcl project which lasts for the period of 4 years and it increases the students ability to get familiar with the it industry

Placement Experience

3

Frome the seventh semester students become eligible for college placements.some of the companies which visited are TCL, Wipro, oracle and almost all the students get placement offers. The highest package offered was 42 lackh per annum and the average package is 672 lakh per annum. 100 percentage of students get placed.my plan after getting my degree is to do masters.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for computer science is 2,75,000 per year. The college provides scholarship if you perform exceptionally good in the jet. It also provides sports scholarship if you are well known sports person. The college provides the option to take a liqui loan in the form of financial assistance. This college dosent encourages campus jobs.

Campus Life

3

The annual fest of the college is infinity which happens in the month of April. The college dosent organize any specific tech fest. The library of our college is good and most of the books regarding our curriculum is present. Our classrooms includ benches, projector, blackboard, plug points. There's is good scope for basketball and football.the extra curricular activities are very less. There are many club groups run by students. The one that I in is called gsoc

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel provides wifi, cleaning services, washing machines. The meal quality is average. Usually for lunch and dinner there is dal rice, roti sabzi, curd and salad. For the registration process I had to call the mojo office and book my room.

Admission

The eligibility of the course varies accross different branches. Where computer science branch has the highest cut off and civil engineering branch has the least cut off. The entrance exam of this college is called Jain Entrance Test (JET). The application for jet can be found on the main website of Jain deemed to be university.where the application fee and application dates will be mentioned. The jet examination happens multiple times before the intake. There is no reservation quota in this college but one can always apply for scholarship.there are many scholarships such as sports scholarship. An improvement I want to see in the admission process is a better management.i found it hard to communicate with the officials and get to know details about the admission process.also it would be better if the documents could be submitted at the kanakpura only but we had to travel all the way to jaynagar branch to submit the documents.

Other Applied Colleges

Manipal Institute of Technology Bengaluru -[MIT] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

I didn't opt for this college because the extracurricular in this college was not up to the mark. This college dosent organize entertaining events for the students and the college life is boring

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
