Likes

The placement is almost 100% over here and the students get pre-placement training sessions.
Students are provided with various coordinating facilities such as various student clubs and provided funds also for organizing various events.
The students and teachers are very coordinating and helping.

Dislikes

The administration is a bit worse, especially the hostel administration.
In initial days, wifi didn't use to work well.
The technical events are not happening that much frequently.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was my dream to be a software engineer and as Jain University is one of the reputed colleges in India, I opted for this course in this university. The faculty:student ratio is about 1:10. About 90% of the faculties are hosting P.Hds and teach well. The term exams are quite often held in every two months and it is a bit easier to pass.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 275000 per year

Placement Experience

I think the students can sit in the placements from the end of third year(6th semester). Various companies such as PhonePe, Oracle and other Japanese companies visit this college and give good offers.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total cost is around INR 20 lakhs and there is no fee hike policy. I don't know about the upcoming days but till now there is no fee hike policy. And I haven't got any scholarships, financial assistance or any jobs on campus with stipend.

Campus Life

The students and faculties are very coordinating and friendly. It has got a good library with numerous online and offline books with a high speed internet. There are various social groups, clubs and websites for students run by students.

Hostel Facilities

There are basically three blocks of hostels for boys and I don't have that much idea for girls. The Himalaya block is so much comfortable. It costs a bit much that other hostels. But everything is good in this block.

Hostel Fee: INR 210000 per year

Admission

The eligibility was about 60% in PCM. I found the application form in the official website on about 10th July, 2022, which was free of cost. I didn't get any reservation facilities. I think the admission process was smooth enough.

RNSIT : Best college for students

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is very active in our college. Every year more than 30+ companies come to our college for recruitment . Our seniors from 7th semester get placed in many companies and before getting placed in the company our college offers internships to every student. Around 80 % of the students get placed in companies and work efficiently. The average package for civil engineering is 2.5 lakh per annum.

My College Review

Placement Experience:

RIT's placement scenario is very good, even for the most unpopular branches such as Civil Engineering. Starting from the 7th semester, students are allowed to participate in campus recruitment, and companies come to the campus for the entire final year. The major recruiting companies are L&T Construction, Shapoorji Pallonji, Brigade Group, Sobha Developers, Atkins, PWD, and Infosys for the non-core sector. Civil students on an average get ?5–6 LPA as salary, and the highest offer is usually in the range of ?12–15 LPA, depending on the company and the position. Almost 70–80% of Civil students are placed, while some of them go for higher studies or government examination.Site engineer, design engineer, planning engineer, survey engineer, and trainee engineer are the core positions that are offered. Also, non-traditional roles in IT and consulting can be taken up by those who are not interested in core engineering profiles.I will first acquire some work experience in the industry after completing my degree and then will pursue a master's degree in structural engineering to gain further specialization.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

Placement Experience:

Actually imnin 1st semester so I aks from seniors so they told me highest PKG of cs branch is 86LPA and machenical is 60 LPA they are off campus package and in campus 57 LPA for cse and they also give minor degree courses for placement chance is increased in cs branch 93 % students placed 125 compony visited in college in 2024-25 I plan I get job after b tech if I don't placed in campus so i tried EAE examination.

Honest review from a student who doesn't hate his college but at the same know there are multiple places for improvement

Placement Experience:

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%

one of the best college in karnataka.

Placement Experience:

i have 100 percent confidence on myself and the college placement .because it has 95 percent placement in it sector.the students are eligible from 5 or 6 th semester as of there.there are one of good companies who visit our college like amazon, tata, microsoft some years ago google also visited they tries to contact and give placements to students.it has 33 lakh highest and the median is good enough as 12 lakh anually.
