Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is like all other iits but yeah quite difficult than another college of engineering and might that only makes a differ between iits and other colleges, while the syllabus is not so tough so it possible to achieve good grades

TCS is the main company other like Big Farm, gillete, reliance, and google but mainly students choose to prepare for government exams like civil services or many local companies also come with good descent package

Placement Experience

Placements will be happen in the last 4th year so not a proper idea but as we hear from our seniors it quite an easy process and mainly everyone gets a job yeah that thing is different someone gets low average or someone gets high value but that depends on cgpa and skills

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is like 4lakh per semester and you will have 8 semesters in 4 years so quite expensive but you will get loans from various banks and organisations at quite a cheap interest rate and if you perform well in exams you will surely get scholarships also so it may cost you free Hdfc bank scholarship i avail to pay my fees

Campus Life

Campus life is truely my dream life it makes many memories to me, my friends my hostel roommates we all like our campus its environment its structure and mainly our open-air theatre OAT and cultural programs , its truely worth it to come here

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is also good our warden is also suppoortive and building is also maintain hygiene and mess also have a better range of foods for all students no matter which region they belong it north south or whatever and all the students from different region are there so good environment in hostels and fun we have is unexplainable

Admission

Admission is generally through Jee Advanced i got a 2568 rank in advance so I opted for this college, all is done by Jossa Counseling they allocate seats as your preference so no worry, yes improvement is like if we get clarity that to know which college course how they perform on review of college than it will help I am general category so no idea about the reservation process

students can be eligible for placements from 3rd year only, many companies have visited the college like TATA,Accenture and many other.The highest package for this year is about 19 lakhs , average package is about 3 lakhs,talking about the percentage our college has 77% of the college placements, i am planning to pursue higher education after my graduation

Placement Experience:

We enter the placement at the end of 3rd year almost at 4th year(6th to 7th semester). The placement cell organizes various traning program, including mock interviews, group discussions, and communication skills workshops. Past 3 to 4 years more than 10 companies per year offered hiring 100+ students. But over the year the companies have come down and providing les opportunities. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, etc recruite students from this college. The highest package is 25LPA and the average package is around 6LPA. Due to the increase in the rate of admission, the percentage has been decresed. Almost 25 out of 100 students are getting placed in this college. After getting degree, I will try my level best to get placed in campus itself. If not, I am interested more in Competitive exams, I will focus on it.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th and 7th semester students are eligible gor campus placements. Students are asked to apply for the campus placements from the career development department of the college according to the marks. Some companies visited are like jspider, qspider, Xworkz, kodnest, Infosys, 3 q sutantra, toyota, triveni,idea infinity,edgeverve, eton ,dfm technology, tata elaxi, enventure and many more. And highest package in 8 to 12 LPA. The students are placed according to the companies requiments min 20 students are placed outof 50 students My plan is to get a good, high paying job after completing my graduation.

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

Placement Experience:

From the7th sem onwards campus placements are put in place for btech students. Many companies such as microsoft, google, BMW, mercedes, accenture and others look for students here. The top 100 of each branch get the highest packages with the average of that being 22lpa for the cce branch. The rest of the students that are placed have an average salary of 14 lpa. Almost all the students are placed with the placement rate being around 90% for my branch. I plan on working for 2 years after getting placed and then pursuing an MBa degree abroad to further my tenure as a valuable asset to whatever company takes me under their wing.

IIT Dharwad Pros and Cons

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in college . Highest package was 52 lpa in 2024 and average was 9-10 lpa. But the percentage was very less in 2024 because of recession and negligence of placement cell and their bad decisions.

Life at IIT Dharwad - What to expect

I applied for CSE and MnC branches of all the 1st and 2nd gen IITs along with the 3rd gen IITs, my rank was about 4.8k so I knew I could get CSE only in the 3rd gen IITs out of which I felt IIT Dharwad was the best. My main reason for choosing IIT Dharwad was CSE, also that it was mentored by IIT Bombay, so the syllabus is quite tried and tested, also Dharwad is near to the tech hubs of the country like bengaluru, pune, mumbai, hyderabad which is good for someone who is really passionate about CSE. IIT Dharwad is new but not forever..

The college comes within the list the prestigious colleges 'IITs' and that is the major reason to choose this college and not any other with my rank in jee advance. all you need to do is clear jee advance with a minimum rank of 16-17k to get entered and for computer science it is around 4-5k.
