I chose this course because I was interested in automobiles, I really enjoy it. The skills from the course will be really invaluable when I will start my post-graduation or job in any industry, faculty members are really good.

College provides lot of company for internship, which belongs from bhosari, Chakan MIDC they give average stipend between 5k to 10k, for different roles like research and development, production and quality

The fee structure is different for different categories of students, for the open category it was 1,12000 and for OBC students 64495. for SC students 190 for OBC students there is post matric scholarship for ABC students

Campus Life

Campus Life is not good because college doesn't have separate grounds for engineering students, in college there are different student clubs which work in college labs, for example, team redline racing which competition in national events like supra and formula bharat.

Admission

To be eligible for the course you should have completed 12th science and must have given the MHT-CET exam and JEE mains for cap through admission, there are different seats available for different categories of students

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
