Likes

Teachers are friendly and understanding.
Classrooms contain speakers making teachers very audible
Projects and labs enable us to have more visualised education and understanding

Dislikes

The college rules are very strict in terms of attendance
The college management is also strict about punctuality they lock the gates after 9am
Wifi is a major concern for me, I barely get any wifi

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose a specialized course of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in the department of CSE, as I believed that AI is advancing and I will have a bright future, the exams are of both the types lab exams and written exams.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is comparatively high but it comes with a lot of benefits, currently I'm in my 3 Rd year and by far I there was no hike in fee structure for me, it was fixed from 1st year till now, there was no hike .

Campus Life

Classrooms are big and have capacity to hold 70- 75 students, there are also Mike's provided for teachers and there is speaker system so that the teacher is heard at every end of the classroom and also there is ac facility in my classroom.

Admission

As much as I remember initially when i approached the college department to get my apply for college seat the process was smooth but the later process of document submission or verification was too tedious, I found out about the college on Collegedunia.

RNSIT : Best college for students

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is very active in our college. Every year more than 30+ companies come to our college for recruitment . Our seniors from 7th semester get placed in many companies and before getting placed in the company our college offers internships to every student. Around 80 % of the students get placed in companies and work efficiently. The average package for civil engineering is 2.5 lakh per annum.

Well according to sources from college they have an average placement of 7 lakhs per annum and highest of 56lpa but it was off campus according to me highest may be 30 lpa something they have company tie ups in their own college According to seniors this college does not have that level of placement it's just decent they said

My College Review

Placement Experience:

RIT's placement scenario is very good, even for the most unpopular branches such as Civil Engineering. Starting from the 7th semester, students are allowed to participate in campus recruitment, and companies come to the campus for the entire final year. The major recruiting companies are L&T Construction, Shapoorji Pallonji, Brigade Group, Sobha Developers, Atkins, PWD, and Infosys for the non-core sector. Civil students on an average get ?5–6 LPA as salary, and the highest offer is usually in the range of ?12–15 LPA, depending on the company and the position. Almost 70–80% of Civil students are placed, while some of them go for higher studies or government examination.Site engineer, design engineer, planning engineer, survey engineer, and trainee engineer are the core positions that are offered. Also, non-traditional roles in IT and consulting can be taken up by those who are not interested in core engineering profiles.I will first acquire some work experience in the industry after completing my degree and then will pursue a master's degree in structural engineering to gain further specialization.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

Over all IIT Dharwad is good not bad

Placement Experience:

Actually imnin 1st semester so I aks from seniors so they told me highest PKG of cs branch is 86LPA and machenical is 60 LPA they are off campus package and in campus 57 LPA for cse and they also give minor degree courses for placement chance is increased in cs branch 93 % students placed 125 compony visited in college in 2024-25 I plan I get job after b tech if I don't placed in campus so i tried EAE examination.

Honest review from a student who doesn't hate his college but at the same know there are multiple places for improvement

Placement Experience:

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%

one of the best college in karnataka.

Placement Experience:

i have 100 percent confidence on myself and the college placement .because it has 95 percent placement in it sector.the students are eligible from 5 or 6 th semester as of there.there are one of good companies who visit our college like amazon, tata, microsoft some years ago google also visited they tries to contact and give placements to students.it has 33 lakh highest and the median is good enough as 12 lakh anually.
