What Students Say
Likes
- Hostel life in jain University is preety awesome i would say because of the weather and environment
- There are a lot of clubs you can join, curricular wise and non curricular wise both
- I'm personally vegetarian and the name itself says jain University so food is 100% and for jain people special jain food counters are provided
Dislikes
- The college if located outside of Bangalore which is approximately 35 km from city so whenever you want to go to city
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is quite enough, and the faculty honestly depends on the subjects, as a study material all facilities use PDFs of around 60-90 pages per module but honestly concept understanding these PDFs is not enough if you wanna learn deeply through the subject you have to borrow text book from the library and you have to study on your own.
Placement Experience
The placement are pretty good but depends on which branch you have suppose for specialised branches they give 100% guaranteed placement, average placement scale is around 5-6 lacs but the number of students here is way more so competition for placement is high
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is generally 10-11 lakhs for four years, but if you get admission into specialised branches as AI-ML, Cybersecurity fees go up to 15-16 lakhs, and scholarship wise they have scholarships for international students and 60% of the international students are from Nepal
Campus Life
Campus size is honestly big but apparently, the whole campus is not allowed for engineering students because half of the campus is under Jain schools and few sports as badminton, swimming pool and all indoor games are under Jain schools so those sports are not allowed until and unless you are part of jain team. But still, since this college is in the middle of a village, it feels like you're living on a mountain. There is no many of extra curricular activities, Fest is held very rarely, i would say once or twice a year is the max
Hostel Facilities
Hostel type they have 2 sharing , 3 sharing fees are accordingly 160000 and 200000 , Food wise it's jain so non-veg is not given plus non-veg is not allowed in hostel too , food quality is great compared to most of the colleges in Bangalore ,
Admission
You can get admission through JEE, KCET, COMEDK, and JET (Jain Entrance Test) which is taken by Jain University. this exam is quite easy if your board concepts are good you will be qualified easily, with a lower rank in JEE/KCET it is not that tough to get admission.
Other Applied Colleges
