Likes

The ambience and infrastructure is good and healthy.
The meals and hostel maintenance is decent.

The locality in which the college is located.
Everything from the college is far and we have to travel a lot of we have to go to the city.
The management is not that supportive and responsible.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I wasn't into the medical field and this looked like the most appropriate course to take. The faculty is friendly only like most of them. Qualification of the faculty is a PhD. Term exams are held every 2 and a half months.

Internships Opportunities

Future is one of the companies that offer internships and they offer various roles. The projects so far we've come across is project-centric learning where we have to come up with an idea and build it strong by the end of 4th year.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for college starting from 4th year. Fourpence is one of the companies that offers scholarships and placements depending on your cgpa. The highest package is 40 lakhs per annum and the lowest is 6 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placed varies each year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is expensive here and there are opportunities for scholarship and financial assistance as well as campus jobs depending on the cgpa you get at the end of the degree. The cost to study here is expensive overall.

Campus Life

There are a lot of tech fests held like from Turing club, gdsc, and ZigBee. Amenities in the classroom are all basic and we have a projector and AC in the classroom too. Sports and extracurricular activities are not much.

Hostel Facilities

The facilities available in the hostel are very decent. There are washroom, dustbin, bed, notice board, hot water available, etc. The meal quality and the menu are also decent. The registration process for the hostel takes so much time though.

Hostel Fee: INR 125000 per year

Admission

The admission process was not that hard but there was a long queue. Application form, application fees, and application dates can be found in the reception. There are a lot of improvements that need to be done.

RNSIT : Best college for students

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is very active in our college. Every year more than 30+ companies come to our college for recruitment . Our seniors from 7th semester get placed in many companies and before getting placed in the company our college offers internships to every student. Around 80 % of the students get placed in companies and work efficiently. The average package for civil engineering is 2.5 lakh per annum.

My College Review

Placement Experience:

RIT's placement scenario is very good, even for the most unpopular branches such as Civil Engineering. Starting from the 7th semester, students are allowed to participate in campus recruitment, and companies come to the campus for the entire final year. The major recruiting companies are L&T Construction, Shapoorji Pallonji, Brigade Group, Sobha Developers, Atkins, PWD, and Infosys for the non-core sector. Civil students on an average get ?5–6 LPA as salary, and the highest offer is usually in the range of ?12–15 LPA, depending on the company and the position. Almost 70–80% of Civil students are placed, while some of them go for higher studies or government examination.Site engineer, design engineer, planning engineer, survey engineer, and trainee engineer are the core positions that are offered. Also, non-traditional roles in IT and consulting can be taken up by those who are not interested in core engineering profiles.I will first acquire some work experience in the industry after completing my degree and then will pursue a master's degree in structural engineering to gain further specialization.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

Over all IIT Dharwad is good not bad

Placement Experience:

Actually imnin 1st semester so I aks from seniors so they told me highest PKG of cs branch is 86LPA and machenical is 60 LPA they are off campus package and in campus 57 LPA for cse and they also give minor degree courses for placement chance is increased in cs branch 93 % students placed 125 compony visited in college in 2024-25 I plan I get job after b tech if I don't placed in campus so i tried EAE examination.

Honest review from a student who doesn't hate his college but at the same know there are multiple places for improvement

Placement Experience:

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%

one of the best college in karnataka.

Placement Experience:

i have 100 percent confidence on myself and the college placement .because it has 95 percent placement in it sector.the students are eligible from 5 or 6 th semester as of there.there are one of good companies who visit our college like amazon, tata, microsoft some years ago google also visited they tries to contact and give placements to students.it has 33 lakh highest and the median is good enough as 12 lakh anually.
