Course Curriculum Overview

The Course curriculum is up to date in the computer technology department and faculty members are supportive and always available to help. The faculty-student ratio is 1:4 in the computer technology department of YCCE. The teaching method is good.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 98000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee is 98000. There are government scholarships. Campus job opportunities are plenty in YCCE. Nearly 50 companies visit IT companies where computer technology department students are eligible so that they can appear as well as avail the job opportunities at the start of the final year.

Campus Life

Social life at YCCE is best, there are a number of clubs where you can explore your cultural as well as technical skills and get a chance to learn organization and network building in the college as well as outside of college. The books are there in the college library.

Admission

Eligibility 90 percentile above in cet, the application form through cap round. Details of reservation benefits are there through cap round and government benefits are also available there. No need for any improvement I want to see in the admission process.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. I applied to Ramdeobaba, G.H.Raisoni , Sipna, YCCE. Got confirmed admisssion for all the colleges except Ramdeobaba. YCCE offers better teaching and placements as compared to other colleges in this list. I got rejected in Ramdeobaba due to the cut-off percentage being too high and me not being able to fullfil it.
