Whole college review

I'm a mechanical engineering student, I chose this course because I have having interest in machines and automobiles. The faculty is very knowledgeable the ratio of faculty: to students is 60:1 which is a good number I guess in engineering College. Almost every faculty member is a Ph.D. holder only 3-4 % of faculty members are Mtech. The knowledge of the faculty is Damm good. Semester exams are after 5 or in mid of 5 months, and to pass it all depends upon the student if they studied every part they can easily pass the exam. But if not then there is difficult for them.

There are a number of internship opportunities are there students, even students who are going to IIT Bombay for internships, big companies like L&T Technologies, BOSCH, and other big companies, students are going there for internships. Some students have also formed a group and made their own internship projects like a solar car, gocart, and many more.

The placement in the college is very good 90% of students got placed remaining students are those who want to complete there masters. From 6 semesters they make students eligible for campus placement. There different companies visited and a number of offers they made, even in this college Japanese companies are also visited every year they take 4 5 students to work with them and the package they are giving is also very good. The last time the highest package was around 40lpa, even in mechanical students got a package of 25lpa.

I got this seat from management quota so my fees are a little bit higher than other students, for my friend the fees are nominal, scholarship is also available for female students, but they hike the fees for the new batches coming not for the existing batches. I think the cost of studying at this college is not as high as that of other colleges.

The campus life here in nitte Meenakshi is great, we can meet students coming from different parts of the country even there are Some international students who are also studying here so we got to know about their culture and festivals. There is a big annual fest is their by named Anaadyanta, in the month of April they conduct and this is the biggest fest in Bangalore according to me.

I got take the admission to Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology through lateral entry, I took a management seat so first I went to the college website and filled in my details and then I got a call from the college that I could be admission, my marks are good in diploma so I came there. Everything u can find like application form fees and all other information on the college website. I don't know about the reservation it is there but I don't know. In improvement, they need to do the process a little bit faster.
