Course Curriculum Overview

I chose my course because I'm interested in the core subject. As I come into the course the teachers are explaining the subject detailed. The teachers are highly qualified in their subjects. The faculty members are super friendly and they are answering the student's questions and doubts.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 250000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The college internship opportunities are good. The students are given internships in their 4 th sem. As my course is aerospace the complaints I got are drdo, isro and so many opportunities are given. Drone making and flight controlling and other things.

Placement Experience

The college placements are good on our campus. Many companies come to take students as interns and make them employees. The placements are given to the students in their 6th semester. By the end of their college, all the students are placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of my course is 250000 every year. I got a scholarship based on my 12th grade. My first year fee is 165000. As the fees are okay compared to all the college and most of the colleges doesn't even have my course.

Campus Life

My life on campus is super. As the college's surroundings are good and the trees and open areas of the college give more peace to your mind. There are different clubs for everything which you are interested in. As I joined in cultural club my participation in the club was good.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel rooms are good as I took 4 sharing the fee for my room is 125000. My hostel room is so spacious. The hostel management provided so many things like a bed, pillow, cupboard, and especially a study table for studying. But the only drawback of the hostel is the mess.

Admission

In the process of admission, I took the entrance exam of the college. The entrance exam was held online as it is COVID year. After the satisfactory marks secured in the exams, there will be an interview by the college experts to know your knowledge. If they are satisfied by your answers in the interview. You will get admission to the college.

Life at IIT Dharwad - What to expect

Placement Experience:

At IIT Dharwad, students become eligible for campus placements right after their 7th semester(i.e. after the start of 4th year) and during their 3rd year, students also have opportunities to sit for internships which can later convert to PPOs. The companies that have visited our campus are Adobe, Amazon, Texas, TCS, wipro etc. The highest CTC offered was 55LPA and average package for CSE is 18-20LPA, and for the core branches is around 10-15LPA. In CSE more than 93% of the students got placed and many of other students opted for higher studies . In the core branches the placement percentage was around 85-88%. After My degree, I plan to go for a Software Engineer role.

Placement Experience:

We enter the placement at the end of 3rd year almost at 4th year(6th to 7th semester). The placement cell organizes various traning program, including mock interviews, group discussions, and communication skills workshops. Past 3 to 4 years more than 10 companies per year offered hiring 100+ students. But over the year the companies have come down and providing les opportunities. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, etc recruite students from this college. The highest package is 25LPA and the average package is around 6LPA. Due to the increase in the rate of admission, the percentage has been decresed. Almost 25 out of 100 students are getting placed in this college. After getting degree, I will try my level best to get placed in campus itself. If not, I am interested more in Competitive exams, I will focus on it.

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

Placement Experience:

From the7th sem onwards campus placements are put in place for btech students. Many companies such as microsoft, google, BMW, mercedes, accenture and others look for students here. The top 100 of each branch get the highest packages with the average of that being 22lpa for the cce branch. The rest of the students that are placed have an average salary of 14 lpa. Almost all the students are placed with the placement rate being around 90% for my branch. I plan on working for 2 years after getting placed and then pursuing an MBa degree abroad to further my tenure as a valuable asset to whatever company takes me under their wing.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in college . Highest package was 52 lpa in 2024 and average was 9-10 lpa. But the percentage was very less in 2024 because of recession and negligence of placement cell and their bad decisions.
