I chose this course because I want to become a software engineer. It has been my dream since my childhood. There are enough facilities in the department for the fulfillment of academics and various other activities.

There are plenty of internship opportunities provided in college. The main companies providing internships in my college are Texas, TCS, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon...etc, there is a six-month internship leave period issued by the college.

Placement Experience

The campus placements offered in the college are top-notch. there is a high probability of placement for every student in the college. the highest placements are offered for Computer Science students.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure differs for different students according to their financial status, category of background, academics, rank achieved, etc. There are various scholarships available in the college itself.

Campus Life

There are plenty of cultural as well as technical events which are conducted annually without any miss. The main cultural event of my college is Dhwani and the technical event is Drishti. and Disha is also a cultural event for freshers. these 3D's are our main college fests. there is also a department fest for every department.

Admission

There is an entrance exam called keam to get admission to my college for BTech courses. To get admission to the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in my college, the top rank should be secured in the keam entrance exam.

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

Placement is average .top MNC except Google and Microsoft comes here.examppes are Infosys,TCS,Shobha construction etc.average package was 4 lpa some gotabove 10 lpa some students got more than one placement .no of offers made was about 300.from s6 onwards students become eligible for placement. Life at CET

This college is the best government college in Kerala. It has been consistently first in KIRF ranking. It has very cheap fees. The campus is very beautiful and spacious (about 200 acres). My best choice of colleges very IITs and NITs like most people. I couldn't crack JEE. I only applied to this college because I had very high ranking in KEAM exam and was confident of acceptance. KEAM exam is a lot easier to crack than JEE. It has basic higher secondary school syllabus. To get my course you would have to be around 700th rank.
