Remarks

College management is too good. Management helps in very manner we want. At last i would say its one of the good college in our area.

Entrance Preview

I took CET From very small age i was interested in computers. So after coming to college i choose computer engineering as my future profession.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course Curriculum is fun loving we have subjects related to computer gaming,database management,wireless communication,operating system and many more yet to come. All the subjest are intresting and the faculty is also good and helpful. Provides us all kinds of notes reference books and all.

Internships Opportunities

No students are not required to earn academic credit for internship experiences. However some students find it helpful to so they have both professional and academic guidance to support their internship experience.

Placement Experience

2 years ago our college placed around 200 students in TCS. Following are the companies that have visited our college TCS,DELL and etc.

One Cultural Festival every Year 'Swaratarng'. Technical Events are also being conducted by our college For First Year SPECTRUM for Second Year,Third Year,Fourth Year-'Techligent' Department wise aslo technical evens are being organised like for Computer Engineering it is 'EUREKA'.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee Structure for 2013-14 Students is 88210 for general candidateIt is increased every year for new students and is same for all 4 years. Fee Structure is feasible for middle class man. For category students the fees is less.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yeah College offers Scholarships for the people who are economically backward. There is facility of working in the college campus also for the people who cant afford fees.

Campus Life

College organises extracurricular activities in sports,guest lectures,conducts workshops for Sports Football,Cricket,Baskteball. Guest Lectures sometime the speaker might be the author of our current syallbus subject TOC conducted by Radha mam in 2015-16 Workshops are always conducted by seniors or people from otside also.

Alumni/Alumna

Yeah they are very helpful. In Studies or extra curricular activites or may be anything. They even help in making our projects also. Every year there is an 'Alumni Meer'.

Exam Structure

Exam Structure for FE and SE is 50 marks of online based on first 4 units and 50 marks of theory and for TE and BE the is as follows 30 marks of In-Semister Exam based on first 3 units and 70 marks of End semister exam.

Faculty is good and helpful. Provides us all kinds of notes reference books and all. Time to time revision is being taken tests are being conducted we are being assesed by theory assignments.

Honest review if you wanna opt for this college

Likes

The girls to boy ratios is good, we get to see all girls equal contributing in the college
The faculty is good, they are very helpful and give good guidance
The boys and girls common room is good to get together with friends to chill and study

Dislikes

Faculty being good they are sassy and might ignore for a time to teach you that not everything will be entertained
The principal is kinda rude and his speech is too long
Well other activities like sports isn't support properly

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem students are eligible for placement Companies visited are tcs and few others i don't remember their names The average package is 5 lpa and the highest is 13 lpa Mostly 80-90% of students gets placement as they do a placement training for us amd prepares us for the placement exams and interviews and all My personal plan is to go abroad for higher studies but i am going to sit for placement if i get good package then i might not go to abroad for higher studies

PES College of Engineering: Overview of the college

Likes

The campus of the college is vast with a natural environment
Many facilities like library, sophisticated labs, and classrooms are provided by the college
The Teachers cover each and every point of the syllabus and guide the students.

Dislikes

The syllabus is a little bit outdated, that is some points in the syllabus may seems boring and not applicable in the real world.
The Teachers should use the right techniques for teaching which makes the students more engaging in the class.
The menu of the canteen must contain some health option in a budget friendly way.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

I really liked the infrastructure of the college its very nice and has good environment .
DPCOE is famous for its sports , it has massive turf where kids of 4 to 5 age has their matches
Also i like my department , as i am an automobile engineering we need most practical knowledge , this college offers a big workshop just for us an also yearly event for automobile students . Also clubs are there which has reputation of national rank

Dislikes

I kind of felt that faculty can be biased sometimes also do not care what and how we want to study .
Watchman can be little rude sometimes , also informing that their are exam coming in next week are to be informed at leat 10 days before. I have a suggestion of preparing acadamic calender of year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

College campus, it is big, not much conjusted, good nature friendly
Freedom upto some level, no uniforms, no ID compulsion unless it is an exam
Events,every now and then there are events in college, cultural club is also too good here👍

Dislikes

Faculty is not much well qualified or well trained I would say
Hectic curriculum, boring schedules and quite unlivable
Labs and classrooms are too old, infrastructure is very old

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student,and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.

Campus is huge and there is to much space for walk and greenari

Not that much strict environment than many of the college.

Dislikes

Campus is huge but is mostly empty need of development.
Need of infrastructure and sports facility for students.
Need of contact no. Of emergency contact of the staff.

Placement Experience:

I talk with most of the senior and faculty and placement cell start of 3 rd year you will get internship opportunities and and in 4 th year you will get placement opportunity. But senior told me off campus placement preparation must be go on you will find good opportunity. Highest package is 12 lpa and average is 4 lpa is good for freshers.

my college is in rural division so i liked the nature and environment of the college most and the college is have rural position and college have bus facility so all the student from poor family are is admitted in this college
my college have bus facility for the students
college have good campus in rural area and the college is good

college have some students water issue for drinking

I like my college building,classes,labs.
Canteen is good.it provides good quality food.
Library is best. Very nice management and staff

Dislikes

Canteen is good but they must increase their staff.
Class should be sound proof.noice from outside disturbs.
Stationary staff should be increased and price should be decreased.

Placement Experience:

From sem 7 students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Accenture,Wipro, Microsoft, HyperVerge have visited college. In 2020 highest package was 30 lac per annum by Amazon. Last year only 40% students got the placement. I am planning for competitive exams after degree.

Some departments here were really great like ETC and Mechanical with a unique culture going on
AIML and AIDS being new branches here are still doing their job very well for the students

Dislikes

The Students section not really tends to help ,as i saw many financially weak students facing the problem of 1 time payment fees and their request for part payments option is always rejected
Infrastructure is decent but in summer season the water coolers are just useless there ,no cooler will give you cold water

Some courses were to the point like IOT was well designed and DSA too with java programming side by side ,still as i said AIML is new branch and needs much enhancements ,the areas where they can improve was always practicals and labs those were always taken casual as i remember

Hello, The infrastructure of the college is top class.
Their are multiple events in the college every month.
The faculty of the college are also well experienced as well as very friendly.

Dislikes

There are no AC in all the class only some of the class have AC

Placement Experience:

The placement percentage in my college is nearly 70-80%. The minimum package offered is 2.5 LPA and the highest is nearly 33 LPA . The average package is 4-5 LPA. Many companies vists are college as our college is NAAC accredited which has a grade of A+.

I choose this college because it is a teir 1 college with excellent ranking and their placement percentage, although is was also checking for other colleges I compared their placement percentage, ranking and students development program but they were not that good as compare to PCCOE. I don't get rejected by any college because I never applied for other colleges PCCOE was my only choice and I got selected in 1st round only. The Real Experience: Strengths and Shortcomings of PCCOE

I came to PCCOE because it offered me the best balance. Most students come to the college through the MHT-CET. There is a 10% bracket open for JEE students as well but I personally came from MHT-CET. In MHTCET, cutoffs can go as high as 99 percentile for CS/IT branches. For my branch, cutoff was 97 and it has increased since. I chose this place becasue it provided a good balance for my working environment. There is also a certain percentage alloted to management students costing anywhere from 10 lakhs to 50 Lakhs depending on the branch for which admission is required. I applied to COEP, PICT, VIT, PCCOE, MMCOE, VIIT, PVG, etc. COEP and PICT were not in my books as my score was too low. I'm glad I didn't get VIT because they merged with VIIT last year and that caused both their average placement as well as average everything to go down. I chose this college because i was getting IT branch here. It is very near to my home than all colleges i applied for. It is disciplied have uniform . I was getting entc in cummins and pict but then i was compromising with branch and also its very far so travelling would have become very hectic. I didnt get IT in cummins and pict as its cutoff was a bit high than what i have. I have scored 97.88%ile in MHT CET . Admission to my college takes place through mht cet centralized portal based on merit. Eligiblity is cet or jee appeared. Exams -Mht cet and JEE.
