Life at PCCOE: A perfect blend of Placement, Learning, Culture and Community

Since our college is an autonomous institute, therefore our college has the authority to design its own syllabus. Due to this our college has decided to update the syllabus regularly year by year. Our college identifies the latest industry requirements and modifies our syllabus every year according to the latest industry trends and requirements. Each classroom of our college has a projector and we are taught using modern techniques. The exams of our college are medium to difficult level as they want us to be prepared to enter into the corporate world.

The college does not provide various on campus internship opprtuniteis on its own student sneed to find the internships on there own itself. The college supports the student in completing the internships and gives them attendance relacksation if they are pursueing any internship. Also sometimes they also provide the in house internship in college itself.

The placement record of our college is pretty good, although top product based companies such as google, microsoft, meta don't come to hire directly from our college but various other MNC's such as TCS, Infosys, Mindtree, Barclays, Delloite, Wipro, Capgemini etc come for On campus at our college. Around 70% students get placed out of the total eligible students with average package of 5 LPA. The highest package offered to one student of our college in 2021 was 60 LPA by uber.

During my time of admission in the year 2023, the college fees were 146736 RS per annum, which is fixed for 4 years, but now the fees for the academic year 2025-2026 has increased may be roughly around 160000 per annum for general category. The detailed fee breakup for general category for my college is as follows:- Tuition fees:- 124347 rs Development fees:- 18653 rs University fees:- 1385 rs Student Activity Fee:- 1000 ASYI:- 1351 rs Since our college comes under SPPU university it offers various caste/income based scholarships which are provided by the maharashtra governments. Depending upon the income and caste category of the student his fees may vary. Our college also provides merit cum need based scholarships to the needy students so that they can complete there education. It is a in-house scholarship that our college provides. Fees for Other categories is as follows:- General:- 146736 rs OBC/EWS:- 85000 rs NT/TFWS/VJNT:- 20000 rs SC/ST:- 4500 rs

Campus life at PCCOE is vibrant and well balanced. The college host's various technical fest such as SPECTRUM, TECHLIGENT (technical fest in February) and SWARTARANG which is the cultural fest held in march. It offers a great opportunities for students to showcase their creativity and talent. The classrooms are modern with projectors, smart boards, and campus wide wifi. Sports facilities include grounds and courts for cricket, football, basketball and many more, along with an enthusiastic annual sports week. There are several active studetns running clubs and societies in our college such as Codechef PCCOE chapter, GDGC developers club, anantam, PCCOE art circle, NSS TEDsPCCOE, E-Cell, etc. Overall the campus offers a healthy mic of academics, extracurriculars and social engagement.

I chose this college over other colleges because this is the 3rd best college of our city and also its location is very near my house so it's easy to travel to college daily. Yes, I had applied for various top colleges across Maharashtra such as COEP, VJTI, Walchand, PICT but I was not able to get my desired engineering branch in those colleges therefore, I chose this college, and I think it is the best college that i got according to my CET score. I also got allotment in various other colleges such as MIT WPU, MIT Alandi, JSPM, VIT, AISSMS but these colleges were away from home, and their placement record was also not good.

The faculty-to-student ratio of our college is 1:40 ie, there is a teacher for every 40 students in the college. In our college, the faculties are easily approachable, and some of them are also very friendly and always ready to help the students. Some faculties always encourages the students to participate in various events and hackathons, and make their college proud. The exam schedule of our college is very hectic in 1 semester, there are 3 main exams 2 unit tests, and 1 final semester-end exam. So we have to give 3 main exams and various small practice exams in a span of 3 to 4 months, which makes it hectic for students.

The college is located in a very good and central location its properly connected to the main city via bus and train. The college hostel is very nice as the rooms are of big size and AC option also available. the hostel are very well maintained and provide all necessary facilities such as gym, mess etc. The college mess food is not that good though you can find good mess nearby college only.
