Best Engineering College in Kerala

It s a great college for B tech education. Also there are separate scholls for Management and MCA.

I took Kerala Engineering Entrance Test. Got 1042 rankSelected B.Tech Industrial Engineering in CET as it is the best. Also B.Tech Industrial Engineering is very rare to pursue in Kerala.

The course curriculum was well structured rich with basics of IE such as Operations research and operations management. Also specialisation in OR is also n option as electives. All other basic management courses were also covered as part of IE.

Since it was bachelors there were no fixed period internships eventhough we planned industrial visits. Also the final year project was done in collaboration with a company.

The college offers the best placements for engineering graduates in the state of Kerala. With a mix of core engineering companies and IT firms the graduates have lot of options to go to.

Tech events and Cultural- Intra college and inter college events are conducted and celebrated in the campus. Events such as Mantra and Dhwani, which is one among the/the biggest inter college fest in Kerala is conducted by students CET.

The fee structure is very much feasible for most as the government fee structure is followed in CET. A comparison is that it was less than even the schooling fees i incurred.

Scholarship is available for outstanding students and also loan for education will be provided by all reputed banks

Campus life is awesome and gender ratios are similar to any other b tech college. The lab facilities are good and there are avenues for lots of extra curricular and physical activities.

I was a day scholar. But as far as the reviews are concerned, the hostel facilities were not upto the mark. But it can be put up with.

The alumni network is very active and involving Alumni is widespread in various walks of life and spread across the globe. The alumin association is CETAA. Conducts regular meets and keeps everyone posted.

Semester scheme is followed with 8 semesters are external exams. Also internals are conducted at regular intervals. Lab exams also follow the same scheme.

Faculty was of good quality with lots of Prof. who had industry experience and also teaching experience. Many had PG and PhDs from other renowned universities and also there were PhD fellows.
