Likes

The infrastructure is pretty developed and good.
The aicte lab is absolutely awesome and huge.
The professors are well qualified for teaching.

Dislikes

The faculty is not very friendly and supportive.
Most seniors are also not very supportive.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is very good in General and my college is developing the branch slowly, the faculty is not up to the mark and not very supportive. But they teach well! However, the course has a very good future as AI is developing very rapidly.

Class Size: 33Course Fees: INR 378000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internship opportunities at Dr BC Roy Engineering College are decent but not too good! Companies like TCS, Wipro, and Capgemini are available and they are mostly virtual with a low or negligible amount of stipend.

Placement Experience

The placement rate is pretty good in my college! Many companies like TCS, We pro, etc. come. Students become available for Placement from the 6th semester, the highest package is 13lpa, and the average is 5lpa, almost everyone gets placements and my plan after btech is to pursue an MBA.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for AIML is 378000, if I have to talk only about the fees it's affordable pretty much. No scholarship or financial assistance has been provided yet. The placement rate is good in my College but the packages are not up to the mark.

Campus Life

Life is good at the campus, there are sufficient facilities, the social life is good and the clubs are well developed and provide good opportunities. The ground is also developed and the Aicte lab is huge.

Admission

I took direct admission under the management quota! I took JEE Mains, I applied online for the exam from home with fees of 1000, the cutoff for my college for CSE was 90 percentile, j got 66 percentile.

Placement Experience:

From Third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies like P360, EY, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Neutanix, BinaryWorks and few more visited our college for placements and mostly 15 to 20 offers were made Highest package was around 5 to 6 lpa 50% students were placed I am now preparing for govt jobs and side by side also applying for offcampuses. I have also given CUET for pursuing M. Tech

Placement Experience:

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
