I am in the aeronautical engineering branch as the AE branch of NMIT is considered one of the best branches in Karnataka. The faculty are trained and experienced. They usually take 3 Mid-semester exams every semester. The exam level is between moderate to hard and it's easy to pass

The main companies that visited our college are Amazon IBM Google Zenden Boeing etc. They provide good packages and pre-placement offers diri internship. As our college is autonomous students can do internships in college irrespective of their branch.

Placement is quite good. From the 7th semester, students are available for placement. The average package for IT branches is 11lakh and for All branches is approx 7 lakh. approx 90% placements percentage. Some companies like IBM Amazon Cisco offer good packages. The highest package is 45 lakh on-campus and 55 lahks off campus

The fee is constant for all the branches and it is approx 257000. This college has an average fee hike of 5% every year. Scholarships are for girls students mainly. Some scholarships are provided by Reliance to boys students which include a scholarship price of 2 lakhs.

The campus life is good. There are a lot of clubs and societies in the college. Some clubs like GDSC and HackerNMIT are good sources of learning and are open for 2year only. There are sports clubs too and a separate gym for sports club students are there.

Hostel is good but the rooms are small. They provide all the facilities. Mess is very good on every Wednesday and Sunday they provide non-veg items. The registration process for a hostel is done during the admission itself. The hostel and mess fee is approx 115000

My admission was through COMEDK COMEDK is an entrance test for admission to Karnataka's colleges an open to all states. You can find the COMEDK form on comedk website. To be eligible for this you have a minimum of 65% in 12 boards. The admission process is fast.
