Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose this course because it is the present boom in the industry. And the college is providing good facilities to reach my goal. The faculty and student ratio is 1:15 The qualification of most of the faculty is they have done their PhD in very good reputed colleges. And they have many years of experience. We have two systems, one is term wise examination and the other is same old semester process. Terms are 5 and each term is of duration 2 months. And semester is same old six months on sem. And it's quite easy to pass and more difficult to fail.

Internships Opportunities

4

Jain College in Bangalore has garnered a generally positive reputation for its academic offerings, especially in the field of commerce and management studies. The college is known for its experienced faculty, diverse student body, and a range of extracurricular activities.

Placement Experience

4

We will be eligible for placement is we are at 6th semester. Companies like Polestar, Wipro, Infosys, Juspay have came to the placements. Highest package of this year is 42LPA and the average package is 8 LPA 92% of the students got placed successfully. I am planning to do masters

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for our four years is decided at the time of our admission and it is same for every academic year. There will be no hike in the fees. We will get scholarship of 25%( Only for 1st year) if we perform good in the entrance test and if we need any financial assistance they provide a easy EMI process to pay our fee monthly without interest ( LiquiLoan)

Campus Life

4

Infinity is our annual fest which will be conducted every March. Tech fest will be conducted frequently. We have a pretty much good library in our college and we might find much good amount of books according to our course subject. We have good facilities in our classrooms like projects and white board. Good benches and air conditioners and more importantly charging ports. Our college have good sporting activities like cricket club, basketball, throw ball and football and they will conduct competitions frequently. We have many clubs like music, dance ,media, and tech clubs and many more

Hostel Facilities

4

Our hostel room are good and they maintain them well They will clean the room and bathroom daily. They will change the bed sheets and pillow covers every week. We might not get hot water in the morning daily.We.have electricity backup also. The mess food was not so great this year. But we can adjust with the food. The hostel registration is like 2 hours of time like we need our college fee payment details and our personal details and every payment proof and that's it they will allocate the room .But carry every document 5 copies each. There are many pg's accross the campus like only 100 meters away and the pg food is also good.

Admission

We have to pass with 60% atleast in the PCM subjects in PU. I got the details about the college and the admission process in the official website of Jain University. They have the details about the entrance test for different courses every year at a particular time. There is no need of improvement in the admission process, every process is neat and clean.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is very active in our college. Every year more than 30+ companies come to our college for recruitment . Our seniors from 7th semester get placed in many companies and before getting placed in the company our college offers internships to every student. Around 80 % of the students get placed in companies and work efficiently. The average package for civil engineering is 2.5 lakh per annum.

Placement Experience:

RIT's placement scenario is very good, even for the most unpopular branches such as Civil Engineering. Starting from the 7th semester, students are allowed to participate in campus recruitment, and companies come to the campus for the entire final year. The major recruiting companies are L&T Construction, Shapoorji Pallonji, Brigade Group, Sobha Developers, Atkins, PWD, and Infosys for the non-core sector. Civil students on an average get ?5–6 LPA as salary, and the highest offer is usually in the range of ?12–15 LPA, depending on the company and the position. Almost 70–80% of Civil students are placed, while some of them go for higher studies or government examination.Site engineer, design engineer, planning engineer, survey engineer, and trainee engineer are the core positions that are offered. Also, non-traditional roles in IT and consulting can be taken up by those who are not interested in core engineering profiles.I will first acquire some work experience in the industry after completing my degree and then will pursue a master's degree in structural engineering to gain further specialization.

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%
