I suggest you to go for NIMAS because many students of NIMAS are selected to work in abereo group of hotel, Taj hotel and many restaurants in the world. NIMAS has collaboration with UK top Renowned university for hotel management i.e. University of Hudder

The college has a well established library which caters to the need of the students and the faculty the library functions on an open access system for the faculty members. But the students have only a limited access. The college library has a collection of about 6000 books and 10000 bound volumes it subscribes to about 100 international books in various disciplines of it and management services such as lending of books, reading room, reprographic facilities and bibilographic reference and information are rendered by the library.

Niper Kolkata: from starting to end

Likes

Laboratories facilities are amazing as it is a premium institute. All the labs contains instrument which are available only in institute of national importance o
Faculties are amazingly qualified as well as friendly for solving your doubts
You get multiple opportunities for the industrial experience as internship. This institute provide amazing placement opportunities with high salaries.

Dislikes

The area of the campus is small leads to chaos. Which will be averted after shifting to new campus
Due to the small campus sitting places are very small
Hostel facilities and rooms are very poor.

Placement Experience:

2nd year students are eligible for the campus placement. Sai, Hetero, mendine, dr. Reddys etc companies visities for the campus placement. Offers ranges from 5-12 lpa. 60% students gets placed, 10% goes for higher studies and others get job off campus in my department. Other departments has 100% placement. My plans are pHd from Niper as it provides vast knowledge and instrumental exposure.

The Techno Experience

Likes

Practical Exposure with hands on training is always good for personal growth
The laboratories were well equipped with state of the art instruments
Entrepreneurship was encouraged and it really helped us with designing future start ups.

Dislikes

Lack of scholarships for the needy is one thing that needed to be worked on.
There was a distinct lack of encouragement to pursue extracurricular activity.
Sometimes it felt like it would have helped if we had a mental health counsellor onboard with the department.

Placement Experience:

Techno India University has a strong campus placement. Several students got jobs during the last semester, and I am one of them. Some others choose to wait for better opportunities. Some joined good startups. The package was nominal as we were all freshers. After getting my degree, I planned to pursue corporate experience and then join a lab for my PhD.

Likes

Well equipped laboratories with all necessary instruments and chemicals and whatever that is required. Even Electron microscope are available
Senior and Junior relationship is great, and PhD scholars often guide you in studies and in Life
Canteens, Playground, Books shops are near or inside the Campus with Department and Central Library with access to many books and online resources and WiFi

Dislikes

Politics is on peak since great colleges in india such as JNU are engaged in political activities
Attendance above 75 percent is mandatory to appear for exams
The duration of practical can be of 4-5 hours at a strech sometimes apart from Theory classes

Placement Experience:

Not all courses provides placements. But Placements are often common in departments such as Geology, for other departments, faculties can provide letters of recommendations and absorb as PhD scolars after PG completion and satisfactory performance

My thoughts on our beloved Sidho Kanho Birsha University.

Likes

The most I liked about my university is the infrastructure and availability of facilities for our studies.
Second thing I like are our professors . They help us in every aspect of our educational or personal life .
Third thing I like the most is my batchmates who gives me encouragement for pursuing my studies.

Dislikes

The university is a bit far from the Purulia city . So the connectivity is a problem.
I think if we get some extra hours of the lab facilities, that will be great.
Water purifier are available in some of the floors I think the number should be increased.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement of our university is quite good and it is getting better day by day. Especially our chemistry department is doing great in this field. Last year our dept almost hit 100% placements and the highest package was of 5 lpa. I am planning to peruse my PhD after MSc.

NIMAS, JUST JOIN

NIMAS is the best thing that ever happen to me and talking about the admission process it was quite decent and easy I mean you just have to go to college and they took a short pi and then u will be selected but you have to give entrance CET exam for makaut as it is affiliated to makaut and u don't have to worry about CET because NIMAS will prepare you in such a way that CET will like butter I mean you will pass smoothly because of NIMAS intelligent teaching method. Review of my college, NIMAS

Remarks In the pandemic situation of covid19, i applied for admission to the NIMAS college for BMLT. For admission, i went to the college but i don't have any kind of quota. They ask me some questions about myself and which field I was interested. After that, they checked all my documents and then they said to give CET exam. I give the exam and also I was from a science background so they appreciate me. College management said that i must have a good percentage in results and also good communication skills and a positive attitude. They also said I must have to know about basic grammar skills in English because all the subjects have to be read in English. The college management is very good and well behaved with me. Excellent faculty members

I have applied to the college NIMAS for BBA in Hospital Management. In the pandemic situation, I went to college for admission. I don't have any kind of quota. They ask me few questions about me and my interest in which field. After that, they checked my all details and marks sheet for the Higher secondary examination.
