If you want to be a software engineer or you want to build your career in Computer science and engineering then you should choose bachelor of Technology in computer science. Generally, there are around 600 to 800 students in a college studying BTech computer science and for them, there are about 200 teachers. The qualification of the faculty is up to Mtech or masters in their respective subjects. If you study well in your classes and attend your classes regularly then it is very easy to pass the exams otherwise you need to put more effort to the pass examinations. Teachers will use various environment-related concepts for your better understanding. In a semester your exams will be two times one is the midterm and another is the end-term examination.

Placement Experience

In 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements they get various internship opportunities for 6 months as an intern they go to companies and work for them to get a decent package if selected and gain some experience. Really around 12 to 15 companies come to visit our college and around 90% of students are selected for the jobs. The average package of a college is 7 lakhs and the highest till date is 30 lakh.

Fees and Financial Aid

For a bachelor of Technology the fee is around 1 lakh 10000 for tuition fees and various University charges and also if you want transport facilities then you have to pay 40000 per semester. If you want a scholarship in your college or any kind of financial assistance then you must maintain an 8 CGPA or above this will be sure but your college will give you financial systems when filing an application that you are not able to pay the full fees and you want some relaxation. There are various internship opportunities that will help you earn some money.

Campus Life

The various fest is conducted mostly in the main campus such as Anugunj. Your college will only organize the freshers party and the farewell party for the students at the college premises. At various festivals, the college will organize a small gathering or some kind of competition in which you participate and have fun. You can get academic-rated books in the libraries through your library card you can issue them for around 20 days.

Admission

So basically after 12th, you will have to apply for the JEE examination, after getting a decent percentile in the JEE (up to 80 ) you can participate in the admission process of various universities. To get admission to IPU you just need 60 or above percentile. After that, you have to participate in various counseling rounds. According to your percentile, you will be allotted a college, and you have to go to that college and pay the admission fee. If you don't want admission to that college, you have to just pay the admission fee to the college and select the float option in the counseling round so that in the next round you will get admission into your desired college. There are various benefits to minorities (such as some percentile benefits) that you can check from the GGSIPU website.

Placement Experience:

Students who have completed there 4 sem are eligible to sit in campus placements to secure 2month summer internship and students who have completed there 6th sem are eligible to sit in campus placements to secure 6 month internship along with ppo or fulltime or direct fulltime opportunities. Around 70-80% students gets placed in tech branches and around 50-70% gets placed in core branches. My plan after degree are to join a fulltime offer.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is decent enough. If you are from Tech and circutial branches you can expect package ranging around 12-30lpa, and other than this you can expect somewhere between 8-15lpa for other branches. Overall the placement is quite good.

Placement Experience:

From third year or 5th semester the students get eligible for placement . The company that visits are quite good like facebook , google, EPIC(US), samsung, texas instrument,Goldman sachs, JP Morgan etc. According to 2022 from my knowledge , the highest package was 1.06 cr/annum and average of the college was 18 lacs/annum. 80% and above in btech got placed in this year. After 6 semesters students are eligible for placement. The total number of companies visited last year is more than 170. And the offers were made more than 352. The highest package is 1.25 crore to software engineers and 500000. 100 percent of students get placed in the tech branch and 90 percent of students get placed in core branches.
