Course Curriculum Overview

4

I opted for this course as I was into cars and machines. The faculty and student ratio is pretty good. 1:40 is the faculty-student ratio. The teaching methods are really good and the qualifications of the faculties are that some have done master's, some have done PhD in their respective field, and some are done with their master's. There are regular quizzes and assignments, there are mid-sems and end-sems. The difficulty level of the exam is of a nice level but if you are thorough with your concepts you will score pretty good.

Internships Opportunities

5

A lot of great companies come for summer and winter internships in the college such as Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, Deloitte, etc. There are also different student projects such as Formula Manipal, Team Manipal racing, Project Manas, etc. which provide industrial experience.

Placement Experience

3.5

The highest package is 55 lpa and the Average is 12.50 lpa. 92% of students got placed. After BTech, I'll opt for a master's in Germany or I'll opt for a job. Pretty good and nice companies come for the requirements.

Fees and Financial Aid

For the first, it is around 3.25 lakh and for the second year, it depends on your course which varies from 16.50 lakh to 18.65 lakh total for the BTech course. As I am a first-year student I don't know much about this. But I heard that there are government scholarships.

Campus Life

4.5

So there are 2 fest that are held here, one is the cultural fest which is held in March, and the tech fest is held in October. The library is okay, there are many different types of books related to all the courses and almost every book needed is available. There is a Marina where all sports are there and there are different competitions also held in college. There are many clubs one of them is Aaina which is the dramatics club and there are student projects also in which you will do the fieldwork of building a car, dronaid, etc.

Hostel Facilities

4

First of all, there are AC, and non-ac rooms which are single, and double sharing, and in some hostels, there are triple sharing also. You will get and single bed, study table chair, almira and shelves. Food is good in all mess. After getting admission, you will get the portal for hostel and mess booking which you will get on your email id.

Admission

50% minimum in 12 board and PCM are mandatory. Just go to Google and search MIT Manipal open its website and there you will get the form. There is some amount of NRI quota, it depends on the MET Rank. Everything is good no changes.

They fake a lot of their placements....now the bangalore campus currently has 40%placements but they fake the placement rates to make it look like its 80 or 90% which is sad...i heard that if u have really bad marks and couldnt get placed(a lot of ece and eee people, cause they will purposefully try to fail u so that u can apply for the couse again) they will make u sign a document were u agree u never sat for placements.
