Likes

things i liked are mix of people all over india and nice placements
faculty have excellent thought process and ideas and well qualified

Dislikes

hostels are very old not a good ambience and triple sharing rooms
mess is not good not a bit spice is there in food definitely big drawback
ground is not very big but ok can be adjustable but bats , wickets all equipment are old not good

DataScience has quite good salaries and also a growing part of computers which has very different applications compared to CSE. and also this is one of the top NIT. 1 to 30 or near we have nearly 200 faculties and 6000 students. many here have Ph.D qualification almost all and also they have lot of experience passing is easy. semester is divided into 2 parts till mid semester from start one test will be there and one mid sem exam and after mid sem to end sem one test and later end sem exam. so totally 4 exams will be there along with assignments.

Class Size: 79Course Fees: INR 262000 per year

Internships Opportunities

stipend is around 20000 for some good students per month they have wide opportunities in internship lot of companies come here like google microsoft, amazon,goldmansachs and many more you have to do 2 mini projects and 1/2 major projects in the final yr

Placement Experience

placements excellent here even for the least branch here you get 95% placements our branch did not have one pass out batch also but IT and CS branches. 27lpa is average package here for CS, IT branches and 55lpa is highest here not interested in higher studies cause of the good placements here

Fees and Financial Aid

donot know about hike policy and all but fee vary for reservation categories for me fee was 262000 for the first year including 62000 hostel fee yeah you have many scholarships here many here have some scholarship well i don't have one

Campus Life

tech fest is called ENGINEER held in october this was once india's biggest tech fest we have robowars dronerace in that and much more we have a huge library and lot of journals here also digital library is there here. no A.C in classrooms but you have them in seminar halls for first years class rooms are very new and have good ambience not a big ground but yeah you can play whatever you want indoor sports complex also there student council is run by students and almost 24 clubs are there

Hostel Facilities

in my i have a table fan and bed and cupboard that is it they are very old buildings we hvae common bathrooms mess is degrading day by day, food is not at all spicy here i donot like food here registration is online through college website

Hostel Fee: INR 62000 per year

Admission

Eligibility of this course is through JEE Mains exam. you can find application form in NTA website which conducts the Jee Mains exam. i have got an EWS rank of 765 using that reservation i have got this seat. nothing much improvements required for admission process, i felt admission process was quite comfortable.

students can be eligible for placements from 3rd year only, many companies have visited the college like TATA,Accenture and many other.The highest package for this year is about 19 lakhs , average package is about 3 lakhs,talking about the percentage our college has 77% of the college placements, i am planning to pursue higher education after my graduation

Placement Experience:

We enter the placement at the end of 3rd year almost at 4th year(6th to 7th semester). The placement cell organizes various traning program, including mock interviews, group discussions, and communication skills workshops. Past 3 to 4 years more than 10 companies per year offered hiring 100+ students. But over the year the companies have come down and providing les opportunities. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, etc recruite students from this college. The highest package is 25LPA and the average package is around 6LPA. Due to the increase in the rate of admission, the percentage has been decresed. Almost 25 out of 100 students are getting placed in this college. After getting degree, I will try my level best to get placed in campus itself. If not, I am interested more in Competitive exams, I will focus on it.

In first year they have many subjects of all course which are basic and fundamentals of all branches Some are good in real world application They should add more practical stuff then theories We have 1 to 1½ month gap betwen internals and some 10 days gap between 2nd internal and sem difficult level varies every year

Placement Experience:

From the 6th and 7th semester students are eligible gor campus placements. Students are asked to apply for the campus placements from the career development department of the college according to the marks. Some companies visited are like jspider, qspider, Xworkz, kodnest, Infosys, 3 q sutantra, toyota, triveni,idea infinity,edgeverve, eton ,dfm technology, tata elaxi, enventure and many more. And highest package in 8 to 12 LPA. The students are placed according to the companies requiments min 20 students are placed outof 50 students My plan is to get a good, high paying job after completing my graduation.

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

Placement Experience:

From the7th sem onwards campus placements are put in place for btech students. Many companies such as microsoft, google, BMW, mercedes, accenture and others look for students here. The top 100 of each branch get the highest packages with the average of that being 22lpa for the cce branch. The rest of the students that are placed have an average salary of 14 lpa. Almost all the students are placed with the placement rate being around 90% for my branch. I plan on working for 2 years after getting placed and then pursuing an MBa degree abroad to further my tenure as a valuable asset to whatever company takes me under their wing.

LIFE AT NITK

I had applied for other IITs & NITs with different branches like IIT GUWAHATI and IIT BHU ,IIT ROORKEE,NIT TRICHY as i wasn't able to clear the cutoff according to their requirements i got NITK SURATHKAL which was the best that i got i choosed the other colleges because of their higher placement records more average salary packages and the most OG thing is that i wanted the IITian tag but i had also got a seat allocated in IIT BHU in metallurgy but i didnt wanted to take it and finally i chose NITK SURAATHKAL because it near to my hometown Banglore and the weather is very good there it has a privatre beach along with a light house many places to visit around NITK SURATHKAL mainly a very big campus of aroung 300 acres and multiple number of sports opportunities it has 2 gym . Great campus life with good placement and private beach, a place like heaven for engineering

After the cutfoffs are released by CSAB i got a seat in NITK, Information Technology. I prefered this college because of the campus (private beach), placements statuts, and seniors recommondation. nitk- a college you can go for

This was the best college i could get with my jee rank. so i chose it, i was also interested in electronics. also location of college was convenient for me for travel to home. to get National Institute of Technology Karnataka u need a really good score in JEE (easier said than done), reservation also play a role whether u get your prefred college. there is also luck involved in the paper that u got for your mains. with a rank below 10k you can get this college. higher the rank better the branch you can apply for.
