Course Curriculum Overview
I want to study in the top institute in India and this college is one of them I said just before this college has a very high prestigious value and national importance and if I talk about why took this branch of chemical engineering, there is no answer to this question if I say honestly this is just my rank which ony this branch to be taken if I want to study in this college and for me, college was my first preference don't know why but it was as it is. The faculty-student ratio is very good. Many faculties have done Ph.D.s from the most prestigious institutes of India including IIT Bombay, IIT Kanpur, IIT Delhi, etc. The term exam was not so difficult as 90 minutes was given for just 5 6 questions and the questions were not so difficult and passing was not a challenge for a student who just studied 1,2 days before their respective examination day.
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities are good here and one student can apply for internships from 3rd year I think Many projects are made by our college like e-vehicles which can be controlled remotely, etc. Projects are given to students like coding research, etc.
Placement Experience
Placements are very good for my college and shockingly it is 7th no. in placement among all IITs and NITs. The percentage of students placed is also very good it is above 90-95% for almost all branches. I would like to get a placed in a very good company after I get the degree as after that I would be able to support my family economically.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is not so expensive an average middle-class family from India can afford it nicely it is like 2lakh fees approx for one year for tuition plus hostel plus mess fee which is not so expensive compared to a private college. Many scholarships are available, there is no tuition fee for SC, ST, and obc, and in general, it is for a student whose family income is less than 1lakh and a 5lakh discounted fee is on tuition fee only hostel and mess fee should be paid full by each candidate who is studying in this college. I cannot tell you about the job as I am a student in the first year.
Campus Life
Campus life is nice, college committees are active and organize good fest from time to time like our freshers were held and gac was held culrav will conduct, etc. In conclusion, I would say campus life is good. A variety of books are available in the library of course and out of course books like novels etc. The sports facility is good, clubs are also good if you have an interest you can go. Clubs are namely robotics club, nishad(singing club), etc.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel life is also very good in the first year 3,4 students stay together in one room like a family and 3 or 4 beds are provided in each room as per how many students are living there. 2 fans are given in each room.
Admission
The admission process was good not that complex but not cannot be said easy as it is conducted by jossa and only mistakes can stop you from going to the best college that you can get on your rank. This college takes admission via JEE(Joint Entrance Examination) and at my time the application fee for JEE was 1000 for general i can't remember the same for other categories. Yes, there is a reservation for sc, st,obc and there is also a female quota for the upliftment of the female gender. I think the admission process should be more flexible as many students find it difficult to participate in counseling with that much accuracy.
