Full review of MNNIT by first year

I chose electrical engineering because I want to get a Government job in the electrical field. The faculty-student ratio is not that good. The student teacher ratio is 104:1 for the electrical branch for lectures and 52:1 for tutorial and practical classes. All the faculty here are highly qualified PhD holders. But In my personal opinion, I don't like the teaching methods of those teachers who teach from PDF. There is enough time for students to prepare for term exams and It is quite easy to pass exams.

We become eligible for internships from the beginning of 3rd year i.e. 5th semester. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon, Texas, Facebook, etc provide internship in our college. They give internship forms 50,000 to 1 Lakhs per month.

The Placement of our college is excellent in the circuital branch and good in other branches also. We become eligible for campus placements from the beginning of 3rd year. The highest domestic package offered is 82 LPA and the international package is 1.35 Cr per annum. The average package offered is 17.43 lpa. The placement percentage in our college is 86%. I plan to go for a government job in the electrical field or for PSU.

The fee structure here is decent as expected from a Government college. The total fees for a general candidate are around 10-11 Lacks for four years of B.Tech. There is 100% tuition fee remission for SC, ST, PwD and students having income less than 1 lack per month. There is a 2/3rd tuition fee remission for students having income less than 5 lack.

Campus life is good. Campus have canteen, playground, gym, basketball court, cafe, etc. There are so many clubs and committees in our college for personal development and growth. Culrav and Avishkar Fest take place in March end. There are enough books and journals available in our library. Our classrooms are decent having AC but the benches are not that good new many classes. The sports facility is not that good but decent. The infrastructure is not good.

The rooms of hostels are spacious in first year having different room for study and proper table and chairs. The cleanliness of rooms is done by workers and they are friendly. The meal in mess are decent here. Almirahs are also provided to keep are belongings safe and there is balcony attached to room.

To gain admission to MNNIT Allahabad we have to take the JEE Main entrance exam which takes place every year. We should also have to get a minimum of 75% in the 12th board exam or in the top 20 percentile in the 12th board exam. Seats are reserved for OBC, SC, ST and PwD candidates.
