Likes

Placements are good . They are much more than many government colleges .
Anti Ragging policy is very helpful for juniors .
Food is good as compared to other government colleges .

Dislikes

Campus is not very big . It has large part of area restricted for boys .
Hostels from 2nd year are not good . They are small as compared to 1st year .
Some departments are very hectic and professors are not friends .

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I had an interest in Electrical Engineering since my class 8th. Core subject teacher teaches only one class or a maximum of 2 whereas common subject teacher takes 2-3 classes. TAs are sufficient. Professors are IIT qualified and teaching is done on a blackboard and projector. Some professors are not good just like all colleges. Exams take place at the right times and if you are attentive in classes you can pass easily.

Internships Opportunities

MNNIT Allahabad allows to sit for internships from the 3rd year onwards. Various tech giants like Google, Twitter, Meta(Facebook), Microsoft, etc. visit the company for campus internships. The stipend varies from 50000 to 100000. MNNIT Allahabad allows internships in the 8th semester as well.

Placement Experience

In the 7th semester, students become eligible for placements. HP, Oracle Microsoft, Google, JP Morgan, and Texas are the top companies that come. 82 lakh has been the highest package last year. 22 lakhs is the average package in Electrical Engineering. 100% of students got placed last year. After my degree will join a company with good placement and will try to grow.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are as expected from a government college. 62500rs. is per semester tuition fees, 25000rs. mess fees, 12000rs. hostel fees. Also if financial income is below 5 lakh you get 2/3 remission and if below 1 lakh then tuition fees are null. Also, you can apply for an education loan.

Campus Life

The annual fest is CULRAV and is fantastic. The library is large with many books. The classroom has AC but they are old. Sports activities take place at regular events and all sports clubs are present. Drama, dance, literature, singing, photography, art clubs and committees.

Hostel Facilities

1st year hostel has 3 person rooms with a separate study room attached. Water coolers are present on every floor but half of them do not work. Lift is present and the bathroom has geysers. Meal quality is good as compared to other government colleges. The registration process is very smooth and hostels are affordable with 24000rs. annual fees.

Admission

The admission procedure for MNNIT (Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology) may vary depending on the program and the level of study (undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral). Admission to the B.Tech programs at MNNIT is typically done through the Joint Entrance Examination ( JEE Main ). Candidates need to qualify for the JEE Main exam and participate in the counseling process for seat allocation. MNNIT usually participates in the Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) counseling for admissions.

Placement Experience:

Form the beginning of very first year students are eligible for the campus placements. TCS, cognizant, wipro, are the some companies visited here. Highest package is 44 lpa in amazon which is off campus for software role. Placements % is quite medium if you are serious about skill then you will be get a path here to go ahead. Arround 60 to 70 is the placement % My plans after getting degree is to get a job.

GLA University Mathura is Great!

Placement Experience:

Average package at GLA University may range between 5-7 lakhs but one student has managed to get placements of 55 lakhs and that is still the record placement from GLA University campus Mathura. Around 70-75% students are placed every year but I will be preparing for GATE as my ambition are to be atleast post graduate if not a PHD.

Good for learning and Skill development

Placement Experience:

Mostly te 6th sem (3rd year) got eligible for campus placement. Amazon, Accenture, AVL India, Atlan and many others (about 900+) visited and made 4000+ offers. The ave. package is about 5.25 LPA and highest crossed 39 LPA. Above 60%+ got their placement and the persentage of students receiving multiple offer is about 32%. Honest Opinion on IIIT ALLAHABAD

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester, many students get into the internship and many gets further preplacement through it. The companies visted are google, atlassian, flipkart, qualcomm, samsung, phone pe etc. Highest package is 1.21CR per annum. Average package is 30LPA 90% students got placed. Private job is the plan after getting the degree. 90% students gets placed.

MNNIT- A path to Bright Future

One of the important reasons for choosing this college is because of its unique and brilliant placement records. and also it is one of the best NIT in North. Basically I want a college that is not much distant from my state Haryana and should be good also and this alligns perfectly with my scenarios. Talking about the admission process, first you have to clear JEE Mains with a good rank like for CSE your rank be between 1K to 9K . If you want to take admission in this college irrespective of any branch you rank should be under 30K. But this data is not fixed , it changes every year depending on the difficulty level of JEE Mains. and then apply for the JOSSA councelling and there you can keep this college in your choice an dif your rank is good enough, you will get it. Know about MNNIT Allahabad/ NIT Allahabad

With my jee mains rank which was 5000 and along with ews I had two options to choose from... One was NIT Trichy with ece branch and one was NIT Allahabad or MNNIT Allahabad with cse branch. But I have hard that ECE branch is tough in terms of academic as compared to CSE branch.. and also NIT Allahabad was very much mear to my home state that is Bihar. So I considered NIT Allahabad over NIT Trichy. Package was also I reason that I considered while choosing between these two.
