- The most important thing I liked is the campus which is very very large and it has more than 5 playgrounds and green environment in every corner of the campus you will get trees. The student teacher understanding is very good I liked it very much .
Dislikes
- The thing I dislike is that they should allow cycling inside the campus as the campus is very large we get exhausted to go to one building to another
Course Curriculum Overview
I am interested in a job like a railway so I went for electrical. The teacher-to-student ratio is quite good. It is 1:13. The faculty members are highly qualified and the best part is that they have more knowledge outside the subject so they not only teach us the subject but also say many new technologies, and innovations around the world. Since there is a surprise test you have to come regularly to the college and the syllabus pressure is low.
Internships Opportunities
TCS is the largest recruiter of our college they do many seminars also. Every year there is a seminar organized by TCS and the package is good for b techs and the m techs get better salaries than B Tech.
Placement Experience
From 3yr students are eligible for campus placement. There are more than 50 companies visited. Highest package- 44Lpa. Lowest package - 4 Lpa. 77% of students got placement in 2022. I will take govt exams since I want a railway job.
Fees and Financial Aid
This year they didn't have any fee hike It is one of the cheapest colleges in Kolkata as they are only taking 3.92L for 4 years. If you compare it with other colleges you can understand it is way too cheap. They have many internship programs and they also have international student exchange programs.
Campus Life
There are two fests The Annual Cultural Festival - ECLECIA and the Annual Technical Fest - DAKSHH. It is a very environment-friendly campus with 22 clubs and 2 big playgrounds so studying with playing happen. Every classroom has a projector and every department has its own computer labs. There are more than 66k books and also students have access to the online library.
Admission
I have taken the WBJEE exam I scored around 21.5k rank since my score was not legible enough to get admitted to a college I opted for Heritage since it was the best private college in Kolkata. Wbjee's counselling system was very delayed so we had to wait eagerly but after it got started I got MSIT KOLKATA in my 1st & 2nd rounds so I opted mop up round since Heritage was my 1st preference Luckily I got a chance in the mop-up round and the staff in Heritage was very good my admission procedure was completed within 1 hour.
