Course Curriculum Overview

My course curriculum is okay. In Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, we mainly deal with semiconductors and sensors but we also have computer programming. In the first year, we studied C language and there is DSA in our curriculum. The facilities are also quite good.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 116000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities in our college are not that great but yeah our college provides internship opportunities. But only a few people can achieve this. For this, you have to work hard. In 3rd year you will have the opportunity to grab an internship.

Placement Experience

Our college is a well-reputed college in Kolkata, so they provide campus placement. In 2022, the on-campus highest placement was 16 lpa, and off-campus was 42 lpa, and in 2023 due to the recession placement is not so good. But the average package is not so bad, the package is 4.5-5.5 lpa. The placement record is nearly 85%.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of our college are very reasonable and affordable. If you are from the West Bengal board, you can also apply for the Swami Vivekananda scholarship. The college provides loan facilities also. As a pvt college, the fees of our college is quite low and affordable.

Campus Life

Our college lacks at this stage. There are so many cultural clubs but hardly any one of them is active. They are active only during the annual fest and puja time. There are coding clubs also. If you have an interest in entrepreneurship, you can join the entrepreneurship club of our college. But campus life is not so great.

Admission

I took my admission to this college through Wbjee. This College has a management quota also. It's a well-reputed college in Kolkata so cut-off is a little bit on the higher side. Its campus is quite good compared to other private college in Kolkata.

Reality of IIT KGP

Placement Experience:

Placements depends on your skills Usually there is a compulsory internship at the end of 3rd year If you didnt get it via college you should do it from outside but its compulsory And at the end of 4th year you get placement. Placemeng isnt 100% . If you have the skill you will get placed thats the criteria.many people say you are in IIT your life is sorted .but that aint the reality

Placement Experience:

The students can apply for internship via Career Development Centre in the beginning of their pre final Year. they can go for off campus intern whenever they want. Most of the goo companies would come and mostly for software finance consulting etc. The placements start in the second last semester as far as i know. The competition for placement is getting really high these days

Course Curriculum Overview:

I read in CSE(AIML) AI ML perspective and couse curriculam inluenced me to admit in college. Teachers often make real-world applications gor any pariculatr topic. I think more practical based an implement based curriculam should be added rather than more theorital subs. Most case college is form 9am -5 pm Like (9-5 job) .

NIT DURGAPUR - A Detailed Breakdown

Placement Experience:

Students generally start getting their pre-placement offers from their 3rd year after completion of their internships other students gets their placement too in their final year. Starting from Apple to Google and Microsoft too hired some of our senior but the number of the students get placed in those tech giant companies is very less but there are mass recruiters too like TCS infosys PW chaitanya education TATA steel BHARAT petroleum and many other companies the offers are made based upon the eligibility of the students and the packages are decided based on the skillset and experience of the students . Highest package was 70 LPA this year and the average packages are also pretty good based upom the companies and their offers it ranges from 15-30 LPA .Almost 80-83% students gets placed but it depends on the branch of the students and their skillsets.I want to sit for GATE exam after completion of my BTech and want to persue MTech

SURTECH REVIEW

Course Curriculum Overview:

The university is MAKAUT so the curriculum is up to the mark. I liked Programming so I chose B.TECH in CSE. The curriculum is very basic in terms of practical world problem though they are building blocks, but you need to do the extra bit of work to qualify for the real world scenarios. I think more mandatory projects integrated with current set of skills would be a cherry on top. Exams are very frequent like every 3-4 months there is a semester exam and they are moderately difficult.

Remarks:

Placement for IT streams is very good but not good for the core stream. Infrastructure and campus beauty are very good. Faculty are average. Canteens are slightly costly but foods are ok. Hostel and Transport facilities are available.

Unveiling HITK

So, basically i gave all engineering exams and i got good marks in jee as well as in wbjee but waiting for jee councelling to get decent college of my choice unfortunately i did not got what i was expecting and thus throung my jee marks i got admission in hitk which is also a decent college. Talking about the application form u will find in wbjee websiteand its fees is 500 rs also application dates are available in the website itself . Now , yes there are reservations for the student of west bengal if they score better they get more chance that outside students .
