I took cse which is most demanded course nowadays. And I really passionate about my course.The faculties here are well experienced. The method of teaching by the faculties is really good. Most of the faculties here are doctorate. Before writing semester exam we have to clear 3 internal tests, quiz, labs and assignments.

Internships Opportunities

Many companies like Amazon, mindtree, Infosys etc. are provided paid internship with lot of projects. This internship help the students to get placed in good company with highest package and experience too.

Placement Experience

Most of the students got their placement with good package in their 7th semester. About 95% of DSCE students have placed in best companies with good package. As per the year 2023 the highest package is 51 lakhs and average package is 10 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year 2023-24 fees structure for comedk is rs. 259707/- as tution fee and 32110/- as skill and other fee. For hostels NRI hostel, the fee is 197000/- and for Indian hostel the fee is 162000/- , the above fee include mess also.

Campus Life

There are thousands of books available in library. In library there are private and public study rooms for the students. Here in DSCE lot of cultural and fests are conducted every year.The activities like dance, art, singing,stage management and many more are conducted in DSCE. Class rooms are well furnished with projectors which help students to understand easily and makes student comfortable.

Hostel Facilities

The rooms provided in the NRI hostel are fully furnished and facilities with study table, chair, cot, matress, Cupboards, attached bathroom, 24/7 hot water, high speed wifi. The quality and quantity of the food provided in the hostel is good.

1.60% in 12th standard 2.comedk portal 3.No reservation benefits are provided 4.No I took comedk entrance exam in may and I got a good rank in the exam. With my rank I got BE(CS) in DSCE. This year cse cut off went upto 3268 which is less compared to 2022 year cut off

Spent my 4 years in good place but with not so good people

Life at IIT Dharwad - What to expect

Placement Experience:

At IIT Dharwad, students become eligible for campus placements right after their 7th semester(i.e. after the start of 4th year) and during their 3rd year, students also have opportunities to sit for internships which can later convert to PPOs. The companies that have visited our campus are Adobe, Amazon, Texas, TCS, wipro etc. The highest CTC offered was 55LPA and average package for CSE is 18-20LPA, and for the core branches is around 10-15LPA. In CSE more than 93% of the students got placed and many of other students opted for higher studies . In the core branches the placement percentage was around 85-88%. After My degree, I plan to go for a Software Engineer role.

Placements are good in college . Highest package was 52 lpa in 2024 and average was 9-10 lpa. But the percentage was very less in 2024 because of recession and negligence of placement cell and their bad decisions.

I choose this college because of the location and the placements. The college is 45 years old and has a good connection in the industry. The placements are also decent. The location of the college is really beautiful. One will find all the necessities near and around the college itself. I didn't perform well in my jee examinations, but my comedk exam went well, so I came to this college. There are 3 ways to take addmission in this college. 1st is through Comedk exam which is for all the students, inside and outside Karnataka, 2nd is through the KCET exam which is only for the Karnataka students .
