Library is well equipped with journals and books.
Alumni of the college feels proud of taking the college name.
Faculties are good they often help you in any doubt regarding your career.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is quite less. There is less space to move around.
Hostel facility is not there which is not good for outside student.
Evening classes timing is not good which is between 5 P.M to 9 P.M.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I was from a commerce background and I was pursuing a professional course. The faculty is good and quite experienced and they always help you regularly. The faculty-student ratio is about 1:100. The Teaching method is quite good they have hybrid classes in case physical class is not possible. The exam is based on the semester method. Every year has 2 exams having a gap of almost 6 months. Exams are moderate. Once you have your concept clear then you will definitely pass the exams.

Internships Opportunities

Tata Consultancy Services, HDFC Bank, and so on are regular visitors for taking freshers as there employees. Accounting, financing, marketing, and so on are the roles offered by the companies. You have to sit in the interview and give some certain test for it.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees hike policy is about 5-10% per year and they provide new experiences also. The cost of the study is about 1.5 - 2 lakhs. State financed scholarship is given to certain students. The college provides for the internship and placement around the final year.

Campus Life

Umang is the annual fest around the month of December and the tech fest is the Hackathon which is organised around March. You will get all kinds of books and journals in the library. The classroom is equipped with modern facilities. Inter College and Intra College sports programs happen every year. There are many social groups, clubs, and websites for students.

Admission

You have to pass Class 12 with any board across India. The application form is found on the college website. The admission process is seamless and you will get help from the admission helpline from the college. There may be reservation benefits but I have no idea about it.

The besc life

Placement Experience:

BESC has enjoyed an extremely high placement record. The Placement Cell draws 35 to 40 companies including the likes of TCS, EY, PWC, Deloitte, Oracle, Axis Bank, KPMG and Indigo to name a few. Eligible from 1 st sem students on wards Avg package - 4lpa highest is 16lpa After getting this degree i am thinking of pursuing mba anf then getting into business

Well among the curriculum of Bcom my most favourite is the management and Economics part. Cause I really love them and the teachers of that subject are really good . The improvement that I would want is the professors to come to the classes and teach us and finish the syllabus on time.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement in the last year which is 7th and 8 semester one can apply for internship or job from 7th and 8th semester. The highest package offered was of 11 lakh so far. And the average package is 4 to 5 lakh per annum. Like most of the Goenkans I am also thinking of pursuing CA as a profession but for now I am focusing on my BCom degree and after my BCom degree I will complete my MBA from a good reputed college.

Placement Experience:

It is a 4 year programme which offers placements. But if someone doesn't get direct placement they are still skilled enough to get a job off campus and it can go from 6 LPA to 12 LPA. If the performance is very poor they can't go to the 4th year.

I choose B.Com Hons as my subject because I want to pursue MBA in my future.The faculty of this college is amazing.They are all very helpful.Total no. of students for this course currently is 800 something and each sector has 120 students.The teachers use projectors to make us understand the concept clearly.Sem exams occur every six months and if you study properly you will score good marks for sure

Do Right Things Now For Your Future

Placement Experience:

After 4th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Out of the companies some of them are Institute of Charter Accountancy, Institute of GST ETC. They give us some packages for jobs. Like the highest package is about 50000 rupees and the lowest is 15000 rupees. Only few studets get chance in this companies. Like 5-10% students. I want to be a bank manager so i just keep my study moving on.

True and Fair reviews about the bhawanipur college (BESC)

I have applied to many other colleges like Goenka Commerce College of Kolkata, Heritage College, St Xavier's College. I choose Bhawanipur College over them because because both Goenka College and Heritage College were far away from my house which would result in a loss of time and energy. The eligibility criteria are pretty easy. Students only need to pass in 12th standard with a decent percentage. But I cleared it easily because I got 89% in ISC. The admission process was fully online, filled an online application, and uploaded the mark sheets. Then, you have to wait for the selection lists and then pay the admission fee and other charges and get the ID card and other documents. The exams in the B.Com course are once every 6 months. Basically, there are 8 semesters spanned over 4 years and there is a semester end exam after every 6 months....Read More
