Likes

The college infrastructure is good and the college is still under construction so the college will get ready in few years.
We can expect good placements from the college and get placed into MNC.
The faculty are very supportive and are friendly.

Dislikes

The hostel mess food is that good and the quality can be improved.
We don't have a cricket ground so that is one of the problem.
The college roads should be improved as the roads are not good.

I have chosen the Electronics and Communication Engineering course as my undergraduate and most of the faculty have completed their Ph.D. and started teaching all the faculty are experienced and we will have mid-exam and end-sem exams which are moderately difficult.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 34000 per year

Internships Opportunities

We will get many Internship opportunities from the 3rd year itself and many top companies come to hire as of now we have Trilogy Innovations, Flipkart, and Disney for internship drive and some more companies will come to hire.

Placement Experience

The placements are good and many of our seniors got placed in good companies. So we can expect good placements in this college and the average salary is above 12 LPA. More than 90 percent of the students get placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure depends on your category and your income. So, if your income is less than one lakh per year then your fee per semester will be 17000 and there are many scholarships available for which we can apply or we can even apply for student loans.

Campus Life

Life on campus is good and many fests will be conducted. The library is good and we can get all the books from the library but we have to issue the books in our name using a student ID card. Our college focuses on sports and we also have indoor and outdoor gyms. we have many clubs like SRC, Robotics, Photography, and many other clubs.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is good and we will provide a bed, study table, chair and locker. The mess food is fine and for the registration of the hostel, we have to opt for Ac or Non-Ac hostels fill out the Google form pay the hostel fees, and submit the registration form and payment proof to the warden.

Hostel Fee: INR 36000 per year

Admission

I have appeared for the JEE Exam and cleared the mains with 98 percentile and got admission into NIT Delhi through counseling. I got NIT Delhi ECE in the 6th round and if u have any reservations you can get a seat allocated based on your category rank.

Good college for leaning and enjoy campus life.

Likes

College has many club and societies where you can get chance to participate.
College has good amenities for BTech students.
Faculty and college managements are supportive and helpful.

Dislikes

Location is bit away from metro station.
College should provide more free shuttle bus service from metro station.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.

Here in Jamia the faculty is very experienced in their fields , they make you feel Engineering and not to just read books. there teaching methods are amog the top in the nation
the curriculum not just focus on your engineering but also focuses on your personality development.
the infrastructure itself gives you the feel of oldness and the reputation of the college.

Dislikes

one bad thing is its less availability of Hostel rooms .
there is a very strict rule of 75% attendance .

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

Things I like is 1st the cafeteria food 😂🫶🏻 it is good.../tasty
and in classroom thier were 2 AC in a room and 5-8 fans..
they have sensors lights on building and lift.. well maintained library

Placement Experience:

I don't know about the placements.. because in this college it is 1st batch of b.tech they just started to offer b.tech.. my plans after getting degree to take a job then do that.. or before that if I get internship I will do that for experience

Likes

Supportive faculties in study wise and real growth support if you need it.
Labs and Syllabus are latest and up to date, so really not a problem on that. And if you do need components for yourself you can ask the college and get it easily

Dislikes

College on it's own doesn't do any Cultural events or Freshers, there's a lot of process and Headaches to get it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

I like the infrastructure of my college. College have provided us AC rooms with clean washrooms. Qualified teachers. Maintained decorum. Most important it is a government college.
Smart classes are available in every room. Cantens are available.
There are many labs for every subject either it's of EE, ECE, CSE

Dislikes

New college so there are no societies or clubs.
Fees is too high for general category students.
No facilities of hostel available in our college

I am an Electrical Engineering student. I chose this course because the demand for skilled Electrical Engineers is high leads to job security and also we can keep our options open for other fields by choosing this branch.

The professors in my college are very supportive
There is many opportunities in every field of engineering
No crowded place professors support in projects and guides you to get better placement

Dislikes

Hostel management are very low lack of room for home state students
Due to construction dust is flowing around

The Dream College Life

Likes

The campus is completely different from the whole city, it is more cleaner and is quiet peaceful with various different beautiful views at different points and is not too big so could easily walk through the campus.
Has really great architecture of the buildings and is surrounded by really intelligent people including some over the top profs and some really great minds from the country.
The night life is completely different and is one of the best part of staying in campus.

Dislikes

some of the hostels are quiet old and need renovation.

Placement Experience:

If you study passionately and have decent communication skills and some important competencies, I assure you that you will secure a position in a great company. Here at IIT Delhi, you earn what you work for; you can receive salary packages as high as 2 crores, but some offers start as low as 4 lakhs per annum.

Fully solar energy used for electricity in Hostel and campus
Wi-Fi is working properly and fast all over the area.
Hostel and hostel mess are neat, well managed and hygienic

Dislikes

Sports facilities are not too well in this campus
There is zero spot of E- vehicle charging.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is newly introduced by seeing the upgradation of the industry by involving AI & ML in that work, this campus and course doing great work. There should be improvement in lab classes only and Exam are done easy to moderate level.

Exam is easy also and faculty is supportive
I love the main campus of university established in dwarka sector 10

Dislikes

Sub Campus area of dseu okhla 2 campus is very small .
Canteen and food is worst not good water fasciltiy
Management a little bit and registrar rude behaviour

I recommend for diploma course to persuing from DSEU university and btech from gb pant campus only this is best campus only for bachelor of technology in computer science engineering, placement is also good for this college

NIT Delhi: A Balanced Blend of Academics, Opportunities, and Campus Life

I decided to go to NIT Delhi mainly for its prestige, NIT status, the variety of branches and the surrounding area of Delhi NCR that is more open to exposure and internships. Apart from that, I had also filled out the application forms of NIT Srinagar, IIIT Una, and DTU Delhi. I was given the go-ahead to take Mechanical at NIT Srinagar and the branch of IT at IIIT Una, but I still voted for NIT Delhi because of the strong preference of the branch, better placements, and that it is not far away from my house. I was unable to access the top NITs like Trichy or Surathkal because my JEE Main rank was a little under their cutoff points. Admission at NIT Delhi is through JEE Main and JoSAA counselling. Review about my first individual decision in life (NIT Delhi)

I got 99.31 percentile in JEE MAIN 2024 and 118 marks in JEE ADVANCED 2024 . Being a general category student, it is difficult for me to get into any of the IIT in a good branch( the same year there is an abrupt hike in cutoff marks nearly 20-30 marks than previous year) So I decided to get into NIT with a good branch rather than other courses that Im getting in new IITs Now my best available options are EEE in NIT warangal, ECE in NIT Calicut and ECE or CSE in NIT kurukshetra/ Delhi I was pssionate in choosing ECE branch as I was keen on learning about chips, and semiconductor devices and their wide applicability. So either I can to Calicut, kurukshetra or Delhi. I have choosen Delhi over the others as it is a capital city and there is a high exposure to industries. Calicut nd kurukshetra also offers a good and those are old NITs, but it is a bit difficult even for transportation and even flight charges are so high for Calicut from my home town (VSKP). So keeping all these things in mind I choose NIT Delhi ECE The admission into NIT Delhi is only though JEE MAINS, so score well minimum 99+ percentile to get a decent branch in NIT Delhi(for a general category student)...Read More
