I liked the campus first of all, its so beautiful . The four pillars at the entry is the main attraction of campus

Course Curriculum Overview

I am in my first year and I am in the civil engineering department, the courses that are taught to us are chemistry, maths, engineering drawing, and introduction to coding. I didn't understand why a civil engineer have to read these all.

Class Size: 35Course Fees: INR 118000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internship opportunities are from the 5th semester when the companies come to the college. I am in the first semester right now, so I don't know the roles offered under placement and stipend offered right now.

Placement Experience

From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placement. My plans after my degree is to build a startup and not to do a job. almost 95% of students get placed who are sitting for placement and the average package is 24 lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is that we have to pay 118000 per semester and there is some hostel and mess security charge which we had paid at the time of admission. there are scholarships for students who are from poor backgrounds.

Campus Life

Our annual fest is Zeitgeist which is conducted in november. almost all types of books are present in the library. There are coaches for all individual sports. Pechaan ek safar is one NGO that is run by our college students and there are many clubs.

Admission

First of all, we have to fill out the form for Jee Main, This application is the starting point and any wrong or misleading information in the form may lead to disqualification. For qualifying Jee exam you must be in the top ten percentile students. Once you pass this criteria, you are eligible for the Jee advanced examination. after that, you have to fill out the form for Jee's advanced examination. Then one should qualify Jee advanced exam.

Placement Experience:

The placements at LPU are decent, the University provides placements to almost every student. The placement cell here is really very active. More than 1000 companies visit LPU during placement drives providing average package of 6-7LPA in CSE field. The highest package recorded was 2.5 crore from robotics and automation and 64 LPA in CSE department. 99% of students at LPU get placed. My plan after getting the degree is to join the corporate and work as a SDE or AI/ML engineer at MNC.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

A GLANCE TO MY COLLEGE

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding and math were the subject that influenced me to take this course we are introduced to python and c / c ++ which are the major languages used in the society for AI/ML. Teachers should be more friendly and try to undertsand the students's prospective also and not rush the syllabus we have our exams every regular month (STs and evaluations and end terms)

I don't like any curriculum in our college one day they kept mid and sem exams on same day to be frank my 1st completed in just 8 months I joined in Jan in August end it was completed my first year actually it should be completed in 1 year .

From 6th semester a student is eligible for the placements, companies like TAFE, CLASS, Mahindra and Mahindra and many others come for campus placements. The average package is of 5-6 lacs and the highest package, according to me was gone for john deere company at the price of 15 lacs per annum. The students have 80-90% chances of getting placements. I personally want to pursue my higher studies and work on my future preneurs.

Good and bad of chandigarh university.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in this college in this college previous year average package was 9 lakhs 50 thousand and highest package was 60 lakhs but in this college number of students are very high so competition also increases.

The best out of best about iit ropar

I applied to iit gandhinagar electrical engineering and got rejected as my jee advanced rank was not as par as required to take the course.the admission process of our college is based on an examination called jee advanced and if u get a good rank and pass that examination u can enter our college.i also applied for iit hyd,iit jodhpur etc in which I have got an admission in another branch as I said earlier as I like the electrical engineering branch I joined iit ropar .or college might be worst in sports in comparison to other iits but they are always better than other iits in reasearch orientation side...Read More
