Remarks
The college management is just fine because it's a government college. They do listen to your problems but the working is quite slow and delayed. Most of the happenings are time bound and they are pretty strict about it.
Entrance Preview
The entrance exam which I took was the one conducted by the Allahabad university for all its undergraduate courses. I scored 271 out of 360 and I chose the main campus of Allahabad university because firstly it was a central university and secondly because it was situated in Allahabad itself.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is the same as in most colleges the plus point being that it's a central university. In the first year one has to select a combination of 3years out of the provided lot which will continue in the second year as well. Whereas in the third year one has to choose one two of the three subjects already studied.
Internships Opportunities
No internships are provided since its not a part of the bsc curriculum. And also it's a central university so internships are not provided.
Placement Experience
There are no placements and thus no job opportunities. After completion of your bachelor you have to see forth yourself what you want to do and where. As far as bachelor of science is concerned no college provides placements, you have to seek job opportunities on your own.
College Events
The university organises several cultural programs, fests and seminars. There are several seminars in which faculty from.other prestigious universities are invited who provide us with details about subjects etc. Debates etc are really organized by the university but one can participate elsewhere.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees is really very cheap, considering that it is a central university. It is just 1200 or 1300rs. It keeps changing depending upon the bill passed and all but it's really very cheap. In the first year you have to submit caution money as well so the fees for first year is a bit more than the other two years but then too it's cheap.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college do offer good scholarships to both under privileged and meritorious students. The fees is very low and thus one doesn't have to opt for loan for it.
Campus Life
The gender ratio is almost equal or girls are more. It varies from batch to batch but mostly it's the same There is a stadium in the science faculty where one can play several games. There is a basketball court and a football court in the science faculty where one can enjoy
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are good, especially the new block and so is the mess. Since I haven't opted the hostel facility so I don't have much idea about it but my batchmates said that it's worth the money plus very cheap. Plus there is the scholarship and thus you get all the invested amount back after every year so it's hardly a concern.
Alumni/Alumna
Because of the seminars and fests along with the freshers and farewell one gets to know the seniors and juniors well and thus can grasp help from them
Exam Structure
The exams are conducted on a yearly basis, that's ones every year in the month of March or April depending upon the timetable. The first exams are preceded by practical exams. There are 3 papers in each subject and a practical exam. Each subject I'd divided into 3parts and those are 3 exams one takes for each subject.
Admission
After the marks were declared there was a cut off list and students securing marks above the cut off were requested to be on the allotted date and time at pravesh bhavan where all our papers were checked, fees foebthe first year was deposited and we had to choose our subjects as well.
Faculty
The professors are all great Ph.D. holders and have a name and reputation of a fortune of knowledge. They help and guide students during theory classes as well as practical lessons. Apart from them, a number of research scholars are also appointed to help the students and guide them through the course and syllabus.
