Course Curriculum Overview

5

The B.Sc curriculum at Lucknow University is quite relevant and provides a strong theoretical base in core science subjects. It helps in preparing for higher studies and competitive exams. However, more practical exposure, updated lab facilities, and industry-oriented skills should be added to make students more confident for real-world applications. The exam schedule is manageable, but results sometimes take time. Overall, the course is good but can be improved with more modern teaching methods.

Internships Opportunities

5

It just my first year so I didn't know much of it and I can tell clearly after a year so company may came so get the right about intership and how time it takes to complete intership and there are lot of projects are given to me and I got a new project in every 2 or 3 weeks in two months

Placement Experience

5

Lucknow University does not have very strong campus placements for B.Sc students, as most companies prefer professional or technical courses like B.Tech or MBA. However, a few job fairs and placement drives are organized where companies from education, sales, and basic research roles visit. The placement opportunities usually start after the 5th semester. The average package offered is quite low compared to other professional colleges, and only a small percentage of students get placed through campus. Most B.Sc students prefer to go for higher studies like M.Sc, B.Ed or prepare for competitive exams such as SSC, Bank, UPSC, State PCS, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

This is my first year as Bsc students and I have to pay 15000/per year, I paid my semester already also I just applied for U.p schoolership for my schoolership it may be around the amount I have to pay.

Campus Life

5

My overall campus life at Lucknow University has been good. The campus is large and full of greenery, which creates a pleasant environment for students. Annual cultural events like Tarang and various departmental fests are highlights and help students showcase their talents. The library has a good collection of books and journals, but sometimes accessibility and seating can be limited during exam time. Classrooms are decent but technology could be improved, such as more smart classrooms and better lab equipment for science students. Sports facilities and extracurricular activities like NSS and NCC are available for students who want to participa

Admission

I chose Lucknow University for my B.Sc because it is one of the most reputed and oldest universities in Uttar Pradesh with a strong academic background in science. I also applied to a few private colleges but I preferred Lucknow University due to its affordable fee structure, better faculty, and good campus environment. The admission process was completely online and based on merit. After registering on the university portal, I filled the form, uploaded my documents and waited for the merit list. Once my name appeared on the list, I completed the admission by submitting fees and verifying documents.

Faculty

4

Facilities are good but if you want to approach you may find it little difficult if you are outside from city Campus and ground are nice you may play any sports you like. Exams come very simultaneously in every 2 or 3 months you have to take exam and marks for both exam going to make your semester percentage along with semester exam with some ratio.

Night Life

5

Nightlife inside Lucknow University campus is quite limited as most academic blocks, library and public areas close by evening. Hostel timings are also strict, so students usually prefer to spend time outside the campus after classes. There are several popular hangout spots nearby like Hazratganj, Gomti Riverfront, cafes and street food places near the university gate which students enjoy. The locality around the campus is generally safe with good police presence, so roaming around till late evening is not a major issue

Uhmm like they complete their syllabus on time. They have given a specific amount of classes to complete the course but if all the classes are completed and syllabus is not done than they take extra classes that too in the morning which is very bad.
