Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is well structured and faculty members are well qualified. I choose btech cse because this is the most demanding field in today's scenario. The faculty-student ratio is 1:30 . The Faculty teaches very well and clears all doubts.

Placement Experience

3

Opportunities for placements are quite well. Before COVID lots of companies came for placements and post the number of companies was reduced. I want to join a company after getting my degree. I am not interested in higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fee is around 200000 per year. Some companies come for campus placements for tech and some for non-tech roles. Scholarships are provided to some certain students but I don't know to whom they are being provided. You just have to score good marks to get in good books and get all the major facilities in the college.

Campus Life

4

I like the weather here. The campus is beautiful. There is a 3-floor library where lots of different types of books are there. We have a basketball court, badminton court, and mini football ground. We have lots of different clubs in our college.

Admission

I have taken admission through my 12th percentile. I applied through an online entrance process. then they sent me an email that i had been offered a seat in cse branch and to secure a seat I had to pay some amount of fee within 7 days. You can find the application form on the website. No improvement in the admission process is needed.

Placement Experience:

Placement at JUIT begins from the 7th semester, core branches like cSE see good placements while Bioinformatics has limited on campus opportunities, Most of them opt for higher studies or research roles. I planned to go for job.

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.
