Course Curriculum Overview

Well the curriculum here is the same old school. We got two semesters in a year with two exam in each semester on midsem and one sessional. The grades are based on cgpi (college grade point index) on a scale of 0 to 10.

Placement Experience

Well placement is pretty good here with a placement rate of 98 percent and average package of 6 l.p.a. you just need to get a good pointer and you will get a chance to sit in every company placement interview.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Well our semester fee is 75k and hostel fee is 20-25 k the fees is pretty affordable and even if you cant afford it. There is a fee concession system for you. Also there is a fee concession for reserve also.

Admission

I prepared for 2 years then cleared jee mains exam. The preparation was not hard though you need to be consistent with your studies. After the result I filled my counselling on jossa.nic.in with the priorities of colleges and branches. After that there were 7 rounds I got my seat in 6th round.

The faculty is good although some of them are pretty cliché types, there is a attendance system with minimum 75 percent attendance required in order to not deduce your marks (internals) well some of the teachers are pretty cool but some are really stubborn

the college is in heavens

Placement Experience:

third year college students are eligible for placements and intership and campus placement is good and amazon , google such big companies are visited the highest pacakage is 43 lpa and median is about 9 lpa and placement percentage is 70 and i got placement in such big companies

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was influenced to choose CSE without specialisation at Jaypee University because it had a good reputation also they give a choice in second year for specialisation in my interest of field like cyber security, artificial intelligence and machine learning. Exams are held here three times they teach for one month and then take exams and the syllabus for tha same is topics that are covered before the exams like classes were started in August exams were held in September first week then exams were held on October last week and then third exams were held in December before winter break

There is a sharp fall in the highest salary package offered during placements 2019 and 2020 seasons which stand 1.2 LPA and 4.25 LPA respectively. There is a fall of 13.06% in the number of offers made during NIT Hamirpur placements 2020 as compared to 2019. Although the mentality of students and most of the faculty is great but mentality of VCs Director and our warden is very bad they don't allow girl student to come out from their hostels after 9:30pm sharp.

Beautiful Campus

The admission process was quite rough. First we have to take part in counciling and after that we got a seat acceptance letter we got a sit in that other round otherwise repeat. Than we have to do online submission of documents. After this a physical reporting to ensure correctness of documents. We also have to pay seat acceptance fees and some amount of admission fees to secure our seats. Than we go alloted our respective hostels and we have to visit them and see if everything's right, put our things and decide to leave or stay in the hostel. That's all....Read More
