cultural fests and the events happened regularly at campus, we have open mics where people showcase their talents
the library is fully air conditioned and has a lot books related to my course
the college food canteen is pretty good it offers wide variety of food

the black listed faculties who award very poor marks

Course Curriculum Overview

The course I am doing is comparatively tough. we choose the faculties based on the slots provided to us. I chose this course as I was advised of its benefits and the value of studying electronics and communication. Faculties provided for each course depend on the level of credits the course carries. The term exam was relatively graded and lab exams were absolute grading

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 198800 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is split into 5 categories for each department. the maximum fee category is 5 Lakh and the minimum is 1.98 lakhs. I am in my 3rd year hence we are on vacation. I am currently doing a summer internship.

Campus Life

We have regular club activities to keep us going on our extra co-curricular activities. We have an annual techno fest namely TechnoVit. It is a huge technical cultural fest conducted all over south India. We also have a yearly cultural fest called Vibrance. The amenities and infrastructure are very good. Libraries are open 24/7 during the exam period. We have a Rotaract club and girl up club run by vit students only

Admission

I got in by taking the viteee entrance exam which is rank based application. we were awarded with ranks and we were given courses based on our ranking. It had categories of fees. People with good ranks can avail category with minimum fees, the highest fee category is 5 lakhs for one degree.

Placement Experience:

Placements starts from the 7th semester.companies Like tcs,wipro,zoho,infosys vist. The highest packages is 24lap,average 3lpa and around 85%of student get placed. I plan to start my career in IT and gain experience.

Placement Experience:

There are companies but the companies that were told that the good ones, they didn't come so much.. only a few companies that gave a package above 5 lakhs came in for my department.. the rest of them were either 4 lakh package or below it was not very good. even the 1 or 2 good companies that came tehy came for electrical.

Why SRM is better than other collages.

Placement Experience:

So from 6-7th semester they offers placements before that we have placement training in campus.So highest package for 2024 was 45 to 50 lpa,good offer given by amazon and other company also.So the average package is 7.5 lpa and highest package was 50 lpa.so 925 application are accepted in last 2 monts .My plans to get job and then after 2 years may be for higher study or startups.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of each course is different and it is followed by the guidance of Anna university, we have several topics and it is under the regulation of 2021 respectively, I feel this easier to learn and there comes an opportunity to do what we learn in theory hour in our laboratory hour it will make more connected to our course, but there is lagging factor that is we are far away from the modern world and we need to put effort to compete with. The exams are not difficult and the frequency of the exam is quite manageable.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 3rd year for placements and also who don't have standing arrears ,if they have standing arrears the clg management will remove them from placements and also the Placements are very poor . The average package is 350000/year . And the maximum package is 15L Last year nearly 100 students out of 180 in cse dept are non-placed , they are forced to write higher studies letter and submit in college . Even though they won't help for any placement side.

Life of an MBA at VIT

All of us know VIT for its flagship program which is B. Tech but its MBA program is too good as well. I gave the CAT exam and secured 85 percentile which helped me in taking admission at VIT. NAAC accredited the university Grade A and it is ranked 51-75 for MBA/PGDM by NIRF in 2020. Another thing is the cost of study which is far less compared to other B schools.
