Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this MCA course because I completed my degree in BCA course. The teaching method is very good to understand and the way of teaching is awesome. Using the projector screen in class is very useful to understand the coding flow. They run the codings on a projector screen and explain it. After that, they conduct CAT-1 and CAT-2 before the semester exams. It is slightly difficult to pass because they asked the question depth of the concept.
Internships Opportunities
All IT companies in Coimbatore like Cognizant and Accenture provide an internship for our college students with a stipend. In the second year, they provided projects to us to enhance our skills in coding.
Placement Experience
From 2nd semester, they provide a campus placement for students. For the last year, the top MNC companies like Accenture, Wipro, etc. came for placement in our college. The average package is 5L per annum. 90% of students get placements in top companies. I have a plan to get a job in an MNC company via campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure for the mca student by tancet exams is 138000 per year. They also provide a scholarship for the students who are in the first three ranks of the tancet exam and also in their college exams. They also provide the internship for the students with a stipend.
Campus Life
They conducted many tech fests and annual fests namely YUGAM fest includes many fun activities and technical games. The library named 'MAHATHMA GANDHI CENTRAL LIBRARY' has some journals of books. Many social groups and websites are run by students like Ignite etc.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel provides all types of facilities like a Wi-Fi facility, lift, heater, etc. They provide vegetarian foods only and also of good quality. More or less, both PG and the hostel have the same rent, not much difference.
Admission
Yeah. I wrote tancet entrance exam for this course. In tancet exam, above 80% of marks is the eligibility to join this college. I found the application form on KCT College's official website. The application fee is around 300 rupees.
