The Campus is Big and have very space and one can go out and hangout cause there are many places to do so
The Library Facility is the best with the Central Library being the Biggest Library in India

Dislikes

Too much couples and immaturity among certain persons
The Society's that are here are great with a great initiative but what I have heard are mostly waste of time

Course Curriculum Overall Okay, Faculty Members are good I'll say it's a 1:1 ratio in my college, some professors just come to give lectures and don't know if we learn or not but the rest are good I can say. Passing was not that hard as my faculty members were not that bad It's okay

5th and 6th semester I guess the internship starts Amazon, TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, intel and other IT companies The highest was 52 LPA Average:6LPA I don't know 60% I guess Getting a job of least 10 LPA or more

Fees and Financial Aid

I haven't gotten a job But the price I am Paying to study here I always ask myself whether it was worth it or not so the fees are too much considering what we are studying here or what the curriculum is providing

Campus Life

Big Campus I like this very much. Have Food Courts at every campus Good places to hang out with friends but it's Overcrowded. My college conducted sports meets, NCC, and NSS for students.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel Facilities? Overall Okay What to expect more! Cons If a thing is broken in the bathroom or anywhere it takes some time to repair that's also few cases otherwise okay Mess food is good sometimes and sometimes it's bad overall I can say average However the chicken we are provided 4 days in a week and is promised to be provided 200 gm each day, it's hardly 100 gm and sometimes less than 80gms that's it

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

The admission process was good, gave Wbjee, Jee Mains, KIITEE, VIT and SRM exams everything is all right that thing of quota reserved for SC ST just infuriates every general category student. Cause many of my friends in that category with lower marks than me got better college than I am!

IIIT Bhubaneswar means technology!

Placement Experience:

Amazon, Google, Wipro, HCL Tech and many such which has been around for a while in the tech business and has built tech for many overseas companies too are the ones which have already started coming. I am in my final year and around 40% students have already been recruited and I hope before this semester ends, i too get placements.

Our college give good placement but packages are very low package start with 150000 and end in 700000 . But you study properly then you try pursuing higher studies. 40% students placed but below 400000 . after completing you try off campus placement then you secured good salary on good company.

placements are average...not feels like an iit but its ok ...this yaer percentage of placement was 90% and highest ctc was of 67.4 LPA with median of 12LPA and average of 17 LPA ...most of the placements for SDE roles. My plan is to finish my degree as soon as possible and get placed for a SDE role so that i can survive

Placement Experience:

The placement stats of IIT Bhubaneswar are quite good. For the 2025 placement season, the highest CTC was 67.6 LPA and the mean CTC was 14.5 LPA, with a total of 22 PPO offers. Approximately 90% students were placed this year. Major recruiters were Google, Oracle, Zomato, Goldman Sachs, NVIDIA and Meesho. This year, there were 5 international offers (4 from Accenture Japan and 1 core offer from Niterra Japan).

Placement Experience:

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is descent. Some of the student opt for higher studies. Almost 80% get placed with good packages.some goes for gate exam. I also know a senior who have gate AIR of 42. I am planning for gate along with my degree.companies like Hpcl , cpcl, exon mobil usually come here for recruiting.

KIIT is worth your money without any doubt!!!!

Students generally have to give the KIITEE exam (exam registration can be done from the official college website, https://kiit.ac.in). Admission can also be done through management quota or your jee main score (Information regarding that is regularly updated on the official Kiit website. Reservations: 15% of seats are reserved for SC, 7.5% for ST, and 3% for physically challenged students. Suggested changes: Honestly, the admission process is smooth and easy.
