Course Curriculum Overview

Electronics and Communication Engineering course are one of the best courses to choose in this college. The faculty members are very good and helpful. They teach very efficiently and their way of teaching is very effective. The labs are very good and the equipments are good as new. There are 8 semester exams and in a semester there are 4 CA exams.

Students are eligible for placements from the 6th semester There are many MNCs i.e. TCS, WIPRO, COGNIZANT, NAGARRO, IBM, E&Y, PERSISTENT, CELEBAL TECH., etc. almost 75% of students got placed last year The highest package is 19 lakh and the lowest package is 3.5 lakh

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many scholarships available in the course. If you are a good student you can achieve all. The course structure is good and has recently changed for freshers. I didn't get any scholarship yet. But I heard that it is available

Campus Life

AEC FIESTA is the name of the annual cultural and technical fest of this college. The fest is held between April to June. Fest consists of 2 days. It is like the biggest festival of AEC. The library is large and has all books on student needs. The classrooms are very good and airy. There are many groups available like the Hardware club, SIC, Robotics society, Photography Club, KASAR-the cultural club etc.

Admission

You have to take the WBJEE and JEE(Mains) exams. Then in the councelling round, you have to opt for this college. Then you can be admitted in this college. Or you can be admitted through management quota. reservation quota is as per your entrance exam rules.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell provides us with training programs and internships and also if the students are careful and disciplined in the classroms they can crack through job interviews. There is mock viva at the end semester and also some on campus hiring companies came in our college.

Placement Experience:

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

Fair college according to me

Placement Experience:

Our college provide really good placements if the student is really eligible for employment. There are adequate no. Of companies visiting the campus. Some big companies are - MICROSOFT, LAB VANTAGE, DELTAX, RTCAMP, DELOITTE, ACCENTURE, PERSISTENT SYSTEMS, IBM, MUSIGMA, TIGER ANALYTICS, KEY SIGHT TECHNOLOGIES, KEYENCE, MANIKARAN POWER, TCS, E&Y etc. The highest package is around 20 lpa and the avarage is around 5 - 6 lpa. Placements are better for cse, it and ece. The core branches have mediocre placements.

I chose AEC due to better infrastructure and the nearity of Institute from my home. I got offers from many colleges in west bengal but due to high fees and remoteness from my home i did not opt for those Institute.
