I like the teaching method here, good way of teaching
Nice campus, very big actually, good to chill with friends
Extra curricular activities and sports are good here

Dislikes

Teachers are strict , which is good but sometimes they get extremely strict
We don't have much annual fest or any kind of activities
Campus is really good and big but too much restrictions

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I want to be a professor in the future. The total number of students in my class is 150-180, teachers are really good and strict about their studies. Their teaching method is really cool, they explain really nicely, love their teaching methods. Term exams are held every 6 months and it was quite difficult to pass but I somehow managed to pass in every subject.

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For sem 1 it cost almost around 28000 and then from sem 2 it cost almost 25000, we have to pay our fees every six months so it almost cost around 53000 in a year. As far as now I haven't got any scholarship or any job, maybe in future.

Campus Life

We don't have many activities here, nothing like an annual fest or tech fest, we have small activities sometimes. The library here is good, different genres are available. We have a basketball court here, good options are available with different extracurricular activities like dancing and singing, etc.

Admission

The eligibility of the course is 75% and above, which is an ok eligibility for this course. The application form and all the information is available online on the college website. The admission process is smooth, everything is shown and guided accordingly.

The course curriculum and faculty members are good. I chose this because English is my favourite subject.Also it you study English there are lots of opportunities present here. Student ratio is 100-120 student per department.There are 26 courses available The faculty is very standard.Teaching Method is very good because attendence is strictly followed by our college.One of the reasons teachers are committed to us .They try their level best to teach us in short time.There are projectors also used in our classes.Overall it is satisfactory. Every term exam happens in 6 months. It is very difficult to pass those exams.As our college is under VIDYASAGAR UNIVERSITY,so questions are set by them.Thats why exams are very difficult to pass.

I wanted to explore the CS stream from the beginning so I joined this program. The faculty: student ratio in BA is good and is around 1:7. All the teachers are well equipped and have complete knowledge of the subjects they are teaching. The exams were difficult as compared to the SPPU endsem exams, but that is expected from a college of such repute.

I choosen this course because of interest in the field of Information techn...ugy. Faculties are very good and they have good teaching experience. Qualification for the faculty is 7 to 8 years teaching experience and degree of PHD. Term exams held two times ever year. Difficulty is moderate.

Beyond the classroom walls

I had applied to a few other reputed colleges for journalism and Mass communication including loreto college, St Xaviers University and Amity University. I got shortlisted for Loreto and Amity but couldn't make it to Xavier's and Amity for their cutoff was high and my English marks missed just by 3%. The admission process was smooth and entirely online for the BA in journalism and Mass communication the college doesn't require an entrance test admission is married based and eligibility being 50% aggregate in 10 test 2 and at least 45% in English the cut of typically how was around 80-25% for the general category.
