The environment is good but sometimes there are violence inside the University campus
The Central Library gives you good benefit

I want to crack Upsc Cse thats why I opted this course , There are good faculty in University of Allahabad, and the method of teaching is quite appreciated , The time of examinations are seen bad in the last three years , In the last three years the time of session was very Irregular and If you are not sincere in University of Allahabad passing here is very difficult mainly in BSc and Bcom .

Class Size: 77Course Fees: INR 883 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is suitable , You can complete your graduation from University of Allahabad in 3 years in less than 3k , And Scholarships are available for Uttar Pradesh residents only , No other state students can avail scholarships here , In the last 2 years fees has hiked but not much but as a central University its fees should be Minimum

Campus Life

There is nothing like annual fest and all here , Here there is Central Library which has almost all the books present from Old to new and you are free to read or Issue any book from the Central Library If you are a student of University of Allahabad

Hostel Facilities

I don't know much about the hostel but the hostel has a good environment of study and there is good fooding and lodging facility in Sir Sundarlal Hostel of University of Allahabad which is near the Arts Faculty.

Hostel Fee: INR 72000 per year

Admission

Cut off changes every year but now the admission is based on the basis of CUET, Benefits of reservation is that you can get Main Campus nothing else, You can find application form on the Official website of University of Allahabad and Application fees is approx 800 rupees , Here there are many hostels but the best one is Sir Sundarlal Hostel , The Arts Faculty has great campus with green environment

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is very useful for me in civil services examination because Optional subject remains important in Upsc examination and if u are already pursuing a degree in a subject which will be your optional in civil services examination then it will be great choice of yours . curriculum prepares me so well. Recently teachers werw changed due to their poor performances in class. This improvement was done. Now exams frequency and timings wero also fine and there was not difficultly level at all

Placements in my college are really nice and the placement cell was we have to find the placements for the students studying the college they make they also make sure that the students are well equipped with the skill so that to get place in my college students are eligible from the 6th semester for the campus placements the highest packages was offered in my college was around 6 lakhs and average packages is about 2 lakh per annum and around 80% of the students get their placements rest also get jobs from where according to their personalities

There are various companies which visit our campus for the campus recruitment process some of them are IDFC First Bank, Adda 24x7, Piramal Finance, etc. The highest package offered was 5 lacs and the average package as per company was 350000. 40-50 percentage of the students are getting placements in the college every year. Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum at Amity University is a well rounded blend of theortical principles and practical relevance that shaped my future career. There are modules like microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics and statistics that provide a strong formation for any future career opportunities in economics or finance. Additionally the presence of specialise subject like health economics, developmental economics, international trade, public policy and behavioural economics very highly appealing and something you would not find in other universities or/and government university. The inclusion of such modules got my attention because it promised to go beyond traditional economic subjects and focusing on the practical subjects that are also industry specific level of domain of economics. They were also research projects, data analysis classes, case studies throughout the three year course which allows students to apply and test their knoweldge that further enhance the value of the degree. There were also subjects like environmental sciences, psychology, communicative English which was made mandatory for students that help them shape their personality and adapt more to a corporate setting. The examination system is designed to assess the viability of skills and critically but the difficulty of exam especially towards the end of semester can create unnecessary pressure for students. There will be time that there will be last minute syllabus changes or additional chapters to be considered and there is no structured format of what you can expect in the written exam however there is a fair grading system though some students feel that instead of the exams there can be more emphasis on analytical side rather than modules that require rote learning.

Overall curriculum was good that they make proper schedules of classes and all but there was something lacking is that sometimes the professor was absent and we wasn't aware about that and sitting in that class without knowing they should inform us or make a proper arrangement for replacing of class with other teacher and also there was lacking of technology in studies I didn't remember how many times they used the projector for proper teaching.

Don't come in allahabad university

After my CUET exam i applied in delhi university and allahabad university , i also got seat in delhi university in deen dayal collage , i also paid the fee in that collage , i also got institue of engineering and technology lucknow - with chemical branch but i cannot reach on time on councelling day because of family issue and that day i was in train and that train was 6 hour late ,but after that i also get admission in allahabad university , because allahabad university is more near to my home so i decided to persue degree in this collage .but this was biggest mistake of my life , because this collage is not able to called central university, if you want to take admission in this collage you have to give entrence called CUET , then councelling on his own website. cutoff will be low...Read More
