Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I am in the production and industrial engineering branch here which is not so good branch like CS, and ECE but it has a better average package than mechanical engineering and civil engineering. This course is completed in 8 sems with a not-so-hectic timetable and 6 subjects per semester. The faculty is impressive for this branch, all the professors have good qualifications with a lot of teaching experience. There are two mid-sems of 20 marks each held every two months and an end sem exam of 50 marks held in 6 months, these exams are not so tough, any student can pass these if he studies regularly.

Placement Experience

4.5

This nationally important college is also known for its placement. The placement percentage of this college is very good. Friends on their branches and every branch have different average packages. Students of the 7th semester are eligible for their college placement. A large number of companies visit here every year. Many big companies like Apple, Google, Mercedes, Tata, and TCL visited here. The highest package from the college is around 1.25 CR and it is from the electrical branch. Around 92-95% of the students are placed here with an average package of 11.5 lakhs. My plan is to take out to the placement from the college in the field of technology and IT sector.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is different for different categories of students. For SC, ST and below one lakh income certificate students, it is very low. It comes to around 18K per sem and the students with income certificates of 1-5 lakh have fees of around 38K per sem which is affordable for above 5 lakh income certificate students it is nearly about 95k per sem which is quite more for a government college. Students can get scholarships here on the basis of their cgpa, there should be more than 9-9.5 cgpa to avail of the benefits of this scholarship

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life is very enjoyable here. Students can roam freely and can explore many things inside the campus. There is a techfest named Techspardha held twice a year which is a good platform for college students to show their talent and a cultural fest named Confluence is a very enjoyable event for all the students. There is a good Library and a book bank for students, they can issue a Book from Book banks. CCN facility is also there to use computers for study purposes. Classes should be as smart classes here as there is a projector and a screen for PPT presentation with 4-5 AC per class to provide a good environment to students. Sports facilities are decent, almost every sport is played here properly and have a proper area to practice different types of sports. There are many societies like mechsoc, erec, and microbus and different clubs like photog, mad, and Anamika which provide a platform for students to enhance their skills and explore their talents.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel facilities are also good here. In the first year, there are triple seater rooms for students and in further years a single room is provided to them. The rooms are good with proper ventilation and a balcony. The room is quite spacious and a student gets a study table and chair. Now about meal quality, the food quality is above average here. Sometimes food is very good but sometimes it is tasteless. Most of the time it is very good and chappati are of average quality. There are different types of meals every day and mess committee members can change the menu according to students. There are extra things like milk, and ice cream also provided. Registration is done online mode where the fee is paid through SBI Collect. There are different types of charges for different types of rooms and for mess, you have to pay 34.5K in starting and the mess bill comes according to your meals and extras. Hostels are affordable here so there is no need for PG.

Admission

To get a seat here an individual needs to appear in jee mains exam. Jee mains exam is conducted twice a year in January and April. The application form for the registration starts in mid-November and mid in mid-December. The more a student scores in jee mains the better branch he or she gets here. There are many reservations here. Caste reservations are very helpful. Girls also have a separate reservation named as female quota which helps them to get a better seat in the lower percentile. An individual also gets the advantage of their home state reservation. I think there is no need for improvement in the admission process here.

Campus placements are offered with many companies visiting (700-800+). Highest packages can go high (Rs 30-56 LPA), but averages and typical offers vary (~ Rs 6-7 LPA), and placements rates differ by batch. Some students also pursue internships or off-campus jobs if campus offers are limited.

Placement Experience:

Four campus placements student get eligible after the 6th semester and from 6th semester companies come and they search for their Perfect suit And they just simply Conduct their interviews in the College campus Various companies visited our college like HCL,TCS and many more Offering a basic scale payoff around 6,00,000 Per year. Average package for our college is around three to six lakhs and the highest package a student got is around 54 lakhs Per year. For sitting in placement at least 6 cgpa is required to Get eligible for Placements But most of the companies ask for 7CGPA and above and only few companies are there which demand 6 cgpa students. My planes after getting this degree is Doing a job and then Lumping amount So that I can open up my business in the form of cafe or something else. But somewhere I will like to become nlp engineer As I have interest in sound processing system and AI and being from IT background I have good coding skills and communication skills. Till the age of 40 I Start my own business or a startup. At last but not least Our college has a good placement Drive system And a good academic system too and one can easily prepare for placements if he studies well.

Placement Experience:

From 2nd year onwards we can prepare for it as we are equipped with hands on experience on multiple projects and practical knowledge. Till now the highest package has reached 45 lakhs per annum. I don't think that percentage matters as practical knowledge is more superior that theory part. I am planning to go for MNCs.

Placements are not good in my college. Only few companies are recruiting through on campus like virtusa, tcs etc. average package is 3-4 lakhs and maximum package is 9 lakhs. From 4th year students are eligible for on campus placement. Only 30-40% of students get placed. I am thinking to give gate exam for better opportunity.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after 6th semester. Numerous reputed companies offer placements, to name a few, these are HCL, Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Wipro, Infosys, L & T, JCB, airtel, JIO, etc. The highest package to date is 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 6 lakhs per annum. About more than 85% of students get placed in good companies with a satisfactory package, however, good skills are required for a much higher package. I'll work hard to get a good package at a reputed company.

Don't join the college as they doesn't care about your career Faculty is bad and also doesn't have minimum experience and qualifications Teachers will change every semester or even teachers can leave the job in mid semester. If want a good career then don't go for it
