- Many reasons such as most class mates were not good enough, were not kind, did not help anyone. Everyone is selfish.
- Lots of politics in college. Even students are affected by it.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this B.com course because I heard that there are lots of opportunities. But after passing all the semesters in one chance, now I understand that it doesn't make any sense. Even though my parents taught me so hard, I did not get a job. Despite having such good marks, Sujak is not. So everywhere now is either source or money. I belong to a middle class family so I don't have any of the 2. Yes it is really very difficult to pass from Calcutta University. Exams are very difficult and conducted. I have passed the exam after 1 year and got the result, but the certificate is issued after 2 years. But many of my friends still could not pass. Here is the result of 31 August, of supply. Some pass but many have been failed.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are decent, but we have no opportunities, scholarships, financial assistance or campus jobs. Even if some teachers come or study on time, many teachers do not come or teach on time. Like our 1st HOD was good.
Campus Life
I felt 2 fest in the whole college life. One of them was Freshers fest. Many big singers and singers were coming and it was very crowded. That day I saw many new students who may not be seen in the college for the whole year. Another was the annual festival where singer Darshan Raval came.
Admission
You need to score a minimum of 50-60% to apply and since my 12th was 72% I easily got a chance. Then the college calls you on a specific day through message or email then you go to the college office and there some teacher or office administrator verifies all your documents. yoy just submitted the xerox of all your documents and that's it.
