Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course structure is very good and effectivedesign in such a way that it is to understandable at he end of every period, there is an assessment (exam, essay or project) and a short break the first half of the programme is built around 14 core courses, which provide you with a solid understanding of the key management disciplines.

Internships Opportunities

College makes every attempt to place second year students in quality internship positions in the industry while they complete their remaining courses our advisory board, consisting of area professionals and business owners has proved to be very helpful in spreading the word regarding the quality of our program and the desirability of hosting our students for internships some of these positions have lead directly to employment after graduation.

Placement Experience

5

NIT has a very good placement record and can boast of upto 90% placement while the jobs may seem futile and worthless, they matter to those who belong to the lower rung of society and aren't as fortunate as others. I've seen people with low pointers get placed in reputed companies such as Deloitte, Bank of America, IBM among others and for someone who really knows their craft, sky is the limit with NIT's backing.

College Events

5

A campus wide celebration in honor of parents, grandparents, and all extended family taking place each year, students from across the College are honored for their exceptional scholastic and extracurricular performances. Accomplishments range from achievements in the sciences, arts, and humanities to extraordinary triumphs on the athletic field to exceptional and committed involvement with student life.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes your student loan is a debt you owe for your education, and you should treat your loan as you would any other kind of debt for example, a loan used to buy a car or a house as with any debt, you are responsible for repaying your loan in full even if you did not complete school.

Campus Life

4.5

It is increasingly orienting itself to a more research focused college with CoE's and other interesting lab facilities coming up all over campus.gendr ratio; m/f=100/60 the majority of the faculty in NIT is mediocre at best. The professors know laughably little about the subjects they teach the hostel facilities are pretty great all things considered and even the mess food isn't as bad as it is in many other colleges in the country.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel facilities are pretty great all things considered and even the mess food isn't as bad as it is in many other colleges in the country. There is room for improvement, of course, but all the messes serve palatable, good quality food in hygienic c

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are helpful they gav us full spport in academic session what really made me fall in love with senior student was seeing the passions of all those who were here welcoming me.

Exam Structure

Another thing that is wrong with the academic system is the incredible frequency of examinations in VIT. Quiz 1,2,3 CAT 1,2 and TEE in just a six month (or less) time frame is a bit too much. VIT needs to drop an exam or two to increase learning and reduc

Faculty

4

The faculty here aren't bad some are really good with Ph.D's and MS from abroad or the IITs. I'd reckon the faculty here are at par with the NITs they have good subject knowledge and NIT encourages them to pursue research which is always a good thing.

The campus placements are decent. getting placed in a big company is more about having the technical and soft skills to pass the interviews. the placement training helps us develop soft skills but the technical skills must be developed ourselves.

Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows
